PARIS As officials struggled Wednesday to explain why a jet with 150 people on board crashed in relatively clear skies, an investigator said evidence from a cockpit voice recorder indicated one pilot left the cockpit before the planes descent and was unable to get back in.

Yikes....doesn’t sound good.
You’d probably get the answer to that on another news site because the NY Times sure as hell wouldn’t mention it if he was. I’m looking right now.
Just imagine what it must have been like in the passenger section of the aircraft as the passengers watching the pilot trying to smash his way back into the cockpit. Ten minutes or so of absolute hell for the lockout pilot and the passengers. Do we know where the pilots were from?
No idea. But they could have called and or transmitted videos.
That's what was going on in the pilot's head as he frantically banged on the door. According to the audio, before the crash he is frantically banging on the door trying to open it. News report says the other black box, flight recorder, is missing its memory card and they're searching for it.
“I outta know by now. Who needs a house out in Hackensack?”
But....remember...this is the copilot about whom the airline has offered no information that I can find. Not even a name.
The flight was just several minutes into the air. WTH was the pilot doing outside the cockpit door that quickly?
Hear attack is a plausible explanation, but if this was an act of terrorism, I’d say the guy put the plane right where he wanted it.
Bttt
ANY NAMES of the PILOTS????
Cell phones as functioning devices wouldn't survive the crash. It is not even required of black boxes. What is required is that the memory in them remains readable in a lab. The same can happen to cell phones. Their entire solid state memory is a single Flash chip. It is not protected by the metal as it is done in black boxes, but short of being broken in half that silicon is pretty hardy. It may be that memory of some phones could be read. But will they even find them, if they can't find the second black box? And it's not like all passengers would be witnessing the attempts of the pilot to reach the controls. Probably only the first class - and would they, serious and busy people, be making video of that?
If it was terrorism, I’m surprised he didn’t ditch it into a populated area.
Nothing seems to add up.
Similar to Egypt Air ?
NYC to ..
Jihadist locked out the other pilot, then - Satan is greater than God - into the ocean.
a guy on the CNN panel said two things would have had to happen for this scenario, and he does not see those two things happening... too much of a coincidence... 1--one of the pilots had to leave the cockpit... 2--the remaining pilot would have to have a medical emergency while the other pilot was away...
statistically, he does not see this happening...
$20 says the guy left in the cockpit was Muslim.
I agree and $20 says Obama isn’t going to like hearing this news.
Unless there was a deterrent from the cabin. If yes, then planned conspiracy/terrorism.
I’ve never seen pilots exit that early into flight.
Need pilots info & passenger manifest..
Oh but, our JV State Dept said not terrorism so move along people..
curiouser and curiouser...
You got it! Great song. So sad these people had to die this way.
