Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, the U.S. soldier who was recovered in Afghanistan last spring after five years in captivity, faces charges of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy, according to his lawyer.

Hard to say, but the Obungler needs a diversion, so maybe the deal will be signed.
Notice that the military starts PROMPTLY at 3:30
This whole thing was a $hitty deal get go and now all those men who died trying to look for a man who was a deserter and now all of those men have been injured or have been killed all for nothing, it was idiotic by Obama to call this man a hero, this could turn out worse than the Lewinsky scandal from the 90’s.
OK - Neck stretching or some frontier piercings works...Either way.
Listening to the local Hannity station online while eating lunch. Let’s see what happens.
No chance of death penalty. Weak.
They probably didn’t have evidence of material aid. What they’ve charged him with is plenty serious without that.
Bet you when he gets out of prison some guy who was a buddy of a man trying to find him will enact some deadly version of barracks justice.
His dopey parents are part of the problem and ought to be charged along with him-—maybe something like “harboring a loon.” I remember the dad saying he told the punk to “follow his conscience.” He missed the part about learning his job and following orders.
What are the odds of the Military members involved in this decision having their Names and addresses posted on an ISIS hit list?
Maybe he’ll go to a military prison and meet some new friends in there.
1 count each of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.
0bama may hopefully wind up with a lot more egg and muzzie face if the judge in the Article 32 hearing recommends a General CM.
I’m thinking his defense attorney will make some kind of plea bargain to avoid that but would sure like to see the turkey convicted of both counts and get the max by residing in Leavenworth the rest of his life.
Dunno if they have a military version of bubba at Knox or Levenworth though.
I was wrong in thinking that MG Dahl’s investigation was the Article 32 according to the FORSCOM colonel’s statement. Now that begins for the charges under Articles 85 & 99.
No chance of death penalty. Weak.
++++
Yes. And he still has the possibility of getting a Get Out of Jail Free card by the one man grand jury or a TraitorBama pardon.
I saw the desertion figure in the article, so I did this neat little trick and went to this site called "GOOGLE" and searched for figures. From Army reports, I verified the Wash Compost article. I also verified that Bergdahl charge is more serious than the average deserter who did not show up for deployment.
5 terrorist leaders were released for him! Then suddenly ISIS pops up.
THANKS OBAMA!
Which one?
Amen to that. The Colonel that read the statement said the max for misbehavior before the enemy is life in prison but that’s not appropriate in my view because of the soldiers that died and were wounded looking for Bergdahl’s sorry a$$.
