Israel’s ambassador to the US, Ron Dermer received Saturday the full backing of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, amid chatter in Washington that replacing Dermer may be necessary to restore the working relationship with the Obama administration.
In a statement by the Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu reiterated what he had said at the AIPAC conference earlier this month that he “couldn’t be prouder to have Ron Dermer representing Israel in Washington.”
“That is as true today as it was then,” the statement read. “The prime minister has full confidence in Ambassador Dermer, whose service to the people and State of Israel continue to reflect his extraordinary dedication, professionalism, and passion.”
The statement came after White House press secretary Josh Earnest hinted that replacing Dermer could be a gesture towards repairing the relationship. “Obviously, Prime Minister Netanyahu will decide who is the person who is best positioned to represent his country in the United States,” Earnest said during a daily briefing.
Dermer is expected to be on NBC’s Meet the Press program Sunday morning to respond to President Obama recent comments that the U.S. will “reassess” its relationship with the Jewish State.

Obama doesn’t want the Jerusalem ambassador anymore because it was the amabassador that gave the White House the courtesy (it is not a requirement anywhere) of an advance word about Congress’ invitation for the Bibi visit.
Obama made such a complete A*s of himself lying and lying and lying and lying and lying and LYING that there had been no such courtesy word up. ... that he is actually afraid to have the Israeli ambassador within such easy reach of the WashingtonDC press corps. I think Obama has very little to fear, however. The press corps is still covering his behind for him...still....still....still...

Obama will then demand that Netanyahu replace the population of Israel with Muslims, and then he will deal reasonably with them.
The Democrat Party doesn’t recognize the Capitol of Israel either, heck they don’t even want Israel to continue to exist..so of course Obama despises Israel, he spent over 300 grand to help make sure BiBi lost and the Israeli people told Obama to kiss their ass..now Obama is having a major temper tantrum like a 2 yr old

No American Administration has recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Republican candidates have pledged to do so but failed to do so once elected.
I am reminded of someone that appointed an openly homosexual ambassador to a country that was entirely muslim. That was about as in your face as one can possibly get to the society involved. That would be much worse than leaving an already appointed ambassador in place.
Who could have done that? Any ideas, Freepers?
