The World Health Organisation’s cancer agency has declared that one of the UK’s most widely used weedkillers is “probably carcinogenic to humans”.
Amateur gardeners and professional farmers have been urged to “think very carefully” about using the popular herbicide Roundup, which contains glyphosate.
A summary of the International Agency for Research on Cancer's (IARC) report, published in The Lancet Oncology, said that the herbicide had been detected “in air during spraying, in water, and in food”.It had also been detected “in the blood and urine of agricultural workers, indicating absorption”.
...The IARC's report said that its use has increased sharply with the development of genetically modified glyphosate-resistant crop varieties.

You have not read the truth. You only react to the anti-GMO crowd propaganda.

The amounts of Bt protein produced by all crops combined in the U.S. on an annual basis is much lower than the amount of chemical sprays used, to the point that it doesn’t contribute much to the total pesticide use.
But, the way Monsanto et al conducts itself and the control of the studies makes me skeptical.

Not all of Sprouts produce is organic. But, they have the best produce prices for the most part.
I had to look up Graves because I did not know what it is. I have two friends with thyroid problems. I have many friends with autoimmune problems. All in the 35-45 range. I have one with very severe IBS that has to eat a very restricted diet. The two with the thyroid stuff. One who just developed RSD. My nephew (35) has sometihng called sarcoidosis. Which he has manged to control with an all organic diet. Incidentally, I have another loose "friend" with sarcoidosis also. I probably could list a few more.
Ofcourse, I have no idea why any of these people have developed these conditions, just like you have said. I can only theorize and make logical guesses
I just don't get the hostility towards choice and knowledge.

they are just deaths. period. Getting the truth is hard. I only posted what I could find with little effort with no agenda.

Back around 1900 people didn’t live long enough to die from cancer. Women died at a young age in childbirth, children from childhood diseases, many from infections before the discovery of antibiotics, etc., and lots of medical events and complications that people these days now survive. Heck, back then strep throat could be a death sentence.

The crops are NOT genetically modified to produce pesticides, they are genetically modified to be resistant to glycophospate. That way, when the glycoposhate is used, it only kill the weeds and leaves the crop alone.
I know, but I was working with the ag industry when GMO seed became widely used. The jump in food prices came before the use of ethanol was mandated. So GMOs being the only positive influence in keeping prices low doesn’t match the timeline of my experience.
There are so many factors influencing prices. I just know that despite buying less food our grocery bill has gone from 12-25% of our income in the past 10 years.
I hear you, I don’t get it either. It’s funny how people here who believe the government wrecks everything it touches, defend and repeat government info regarding foods, be it GMOs, aspartame, or whatever.
I’m just glad that at this point we are all free to read the many sources of information and discern for ourselves who we trust. The FDA, USDA, etc are at the bottom of my list.
