A “gun shop” that suddenly appeared in the heart of Manhattan last week only to close its doors after two days was actually an elaborate ruse by a pro-gun control group that sought to lure potential customers in order to make their anti-firearms case.
States United to Prevent Gun Violence set up the “Guns with History Gun Shop” on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and pretended to offer for sale guns used in high-profile crimes. The phony sales pitches were really part of a “social experiment”—pretexts for telling customers about the dangers of gun proliferation in unconsummated transactions recorded by hidden cameras, according to the group. Pro-gun advocates called the effort a misleading stunt.

Why do they say “pro-gun advocates”? What does it mean to be “pro-gun”? To support the Constitution? To believe that every man and woman has the absolute and inalienable right to defend his or her life, the life of his or her family, and the life of his or her friends and neighbors and acquaintances? It is fairly clear what “anti-gun” means, but to be “pro-gun” isn’t much more than just the status quo. It doesn’t need to be in opposition, it is the default position.

Whether these guns were real or not overlooks one big factor. There were multiple ‘more-than-10-round’ magazines.
I hardly think these dipwads found prop magazines that met the letter of NY law. In each instance, these magazines are a Class D Felony......who went to jail?
I think I will buy a real gun today to celebrate, thuggery, buggery, and Obama.

Well, akin to the “anti-abortion” or “anti-choice” labels for the pro-life folks, and “pro-choice” label for the pro-abortion folks. Words are chosen to demonize opposing views and make consensual views positive. And we have learned just how pro-choice the pro-abortion folks really are when they don’t want to allow pregnant women to view an ultrasound image of the child within them before making an informed choice at the abortion the mills.

When horrorshow crimes are billed as "workplace accidents" because those specific crimes are inconvenient to the disarmers' agenda, I am suspicious of the veracity of all accounts. It isn't the crime that is political per se, it is the reporting of it.
Adam Lanza committed suicide when the cops arrived. Courts don't try dead people.

I have no first-hand knowledge of events, and the media had everything pretty well muddled.
I would like to at least see the official version of events (unfiltered by the nits in the media who impress me only with their ability to get things wrong) as expressed in the reports of the official investigation.
As for guilt, innocent until proven guilty.

Alright, I'm not asking you to trust Wikipedia, but go to the article on this subject and scroll to the very bottom of the page to the list of references. There are over 200 links to articles and news reports about the shooting, across the political spectrum. Many of them national media, some of them local. If you want to be super skeptical, check out some of the local reporting done.

--not what I asked for, but poring through all the links, I found one document which might be some help.
I caught the early news reports and saw what an effed up mess those were, and the data got screwier from there so I'm looking to backtrack to primary sources. It is the screwy reports and changes from the wrong brother to the usual gibberish about what kind of firearm(s) were involved, to people on video bugging out the back of the property that make people wonder what the hell happened, and then they come up with their own ideas.
"Everybody knows" just doesn't cut it with me--I have seen so much of that proved wrong time and again.
As for the wiki article, TV and newspaper sources (especially liberal papers) have no credibility with me, period. I have my reasons, but let's just say that there is something I have been involved in for 15 years, they still can't get even the basics right, and ditto for the dead tree scribblers.
One thing I will note, is that there seemed to be a rush to tear down the crime scene, and then the contractors were required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Demolition contractors signing a confidentiality agreement? That seems odd to me. Especially if the events of that day are accurately portrayed in the official accounts, you would think any disclosures would be supportive and not fuel for speculation, so I just don't get that.

Also, help me understand. Did the 20 dead kids and 6 dead school staff never exist? Or did they exist and die from something else? Is the entire elementary school involved in the conspiracy to create 20 kids and 6 six adults that don't exist?
