A judge has sentenced a former Oregon jail worker to four years in prison for having sex with an inmate in a supply closet.
The liaisons happened 13 times last year, a Washington County prosecutor said Monday.
When a sheriff's deputy in the maximum-security wing went to lunch, that left jail services technician Jill Curry alone in the control room so she could press a button to let the 25-year-old inmate out of his cell.

At about this same time, there was a story out of Baltimore that a gang banger had impregnated four female guards at the Baltimore City Jail. I'm not sure if this was the same case.

You hate to ask but she couldn’t find a willing man outside of prison???
That is just nasty; did they all contract AIDS? Did they leave their “jobs” and go on welfare now that they had “golden ticket welfare bastards”?
Corrections officers are really earning a reputation as one step above the thugs they guard...

I didn’t read the whole article and missed the part that she was married. She’s a sorry messed up woman .
I don’t think there is such a thing as standards today.
What if she claims to be transgender and demands to be sent to a male prison? it's a whole new world out there.
That poor soul, now he’ll havecto suffer years of mental anguish over being abused by his captors. I’m thinking $2-$5 million should ease his pain and suffering.
Understandable; I think you’ll see big differences between those working on their merits and those that are affirmative action hires (preferred gender/ethnic minorities). I knew a couple of them years ago that commuted to Brooklyn from upstate NY; it let them go back to nice surroundings (where there are few jobs) after dealing with the animals. I’m sure they’ll never appear in these stories; there are just more and more in the news involving smuggling items to the inmates (cellphones, drugs, etc.).
To a deputy no less.

Some women like thugs. They get rid of one thug who won’t work and beats the crap out of them on a regular basis, and once he’s gone, they hook-up with another thug who won’t work and beats the crap out of them.
So she goes to jail for 4 years for what?
Exceptionally poor judgment?
Just fire her and make public why. That should be more than enough punishment. Instead she goes from an admittedly twisted, pathetic, tax-paying, soon to be divorced, bleach blonde to a twisted, pathetic, tax-sucking, soon to be divorced bleach blonde.
In 4 years does anyone think she is going to emerge as anything better?
