The long-awaited Hillary Clinton press conference held at the United Nations on Tuesday was her unofficial admission that she’s running for president. Why else would the former Secretary of State and frontrunner for the Democratic Presidential nomination in 2016 take questions about her private email account, housed on a private server at her Chappaqua, NY home?
Although Clinton broke no laws, the fact that she kept all of her email traffic outside of State Department control has prompted critics, particularly Republicans focused on the terrorist attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya in 2012, to raise concerns about whether the former Secretary of State is being sufficiently transparent.

It’s legal for a federal employee... including the Secretary of State... to route Secret and Top Secret communications through a server located in their private home?

I still think we need to know if she is or had expensed the cost of this server back to the feds.
If so, I’m guessing the Feds have a right to see all the emails.
When exactly was this determined? Just because the Clintons and their cronies assert this, doesn't make it true. In fact, the more they repeat this line, the less likely that it is true.

It sounds to me like various laws and policies were violated.
This is how the Clintons are. They parse words and go through life pushing the envelope. And at least up until now, they have been backed up by a lap dog media and their fellow Democrats.
There are rumblings that the Democrats want someone else to run for president. All of this could be part of a stealth campaign to upend Hillary’s presidential plans.
I’m all too eager to see Hillary upended, but then wonder will we end up with Pocahontas or someone else who is much more liberal???

My question is, at the Josh Earnest presser today when questioned about Hillary’s private email server he responded...’we have been told that any of the government business she had on her private server has been turned over to the State department’ (paraphrased).
Did anyone catch that? If not, are transcripts available for reading.
I think this MAY be important because Clinton has said she never had any government business on her private server.
To comply with security requirements, she can only route classified information through a server that was certified as being secure enough for this purpose. That being the case, who certified that the server met prescribed security requirements? Where is the documentation showing that this certification process was completed? If this was not done, it represents a very serious security violation. Also, there is a requirement to maintain a backup server located in a different geographic area in the event the primary server was damaged as a result of fire, natural disaster, etc. If this requirement was not met, it represents yet another serious violation.
The problem I see is that once she sent 1 message to The state Dept. The computer HD and Server are now classified and must be confiscated by the FBI and destroyed classified and unclassified emails
No, its not legal to send SECRET or TOP SECRET communications through a private server. It’s also practically impossible to do, since the SECRET and TS systems are not connected to the internet. All that traffic travels over its own network. I think that she was using her private system to send and receive unclassified email. That doesn’t mean that someone didn’t misuse the unclassified system to send classified information by typing it into the email and Hillary would have to be the top suspect for having done that. The higher up you are, the more likely you are to do it.
