White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest admits that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama did exchange emails while she was in the Obama administration.
“The president, I think as many people expected, did, over the course of his first several years in office, trade emails with his secretary of state,” Earnest confirmed, but added that the number of emails they exchanged was “not large.”

"Couple of things, first I'll put on my political hat. Keeping a server at the house, with physical control of the box, is a very clear sign that the Clinton's (obviously both were using the server) are more concerned with their keeping personal secrets rather than national secrets. This should communicate very loudly what they really hold dear...and it ain't us. No archiving, no long term records of any kind. When she says she wants the State Department to release her emails she means emails that she cc'd others with State addresses....not ALL of the emails on her private server. You think she would send incriminating emails to someone with a government address? Possibly but not likely.
I'm a 20 year Linux admin, the security implications are horrendous. While the house probably had a good physical security system and the Secret Service, I doubt it had the network security required to keep this server safe AND someone to watch it on a daily basis for intrusion detection (at least receiving alert emails), OS updates, log analysis and so on. Did they even require a secure SSL/TLS connection? Were the passwords they used something easy to hack (almost guarantee you they were) because they needed to be easy to remember? I doubt very seriously they were using encryption keys.
I'd bet top dollar that her account was compromised, you have to KNOW that foreign governments did a traceroute and full background on the box, an easy hack I'm sure. When they recognized that Clinton was using a non sanctioned email account it's like a bright neon light going off... HACK ME. What secrets did she give up to cover her trail?
The DOJ, CIA, NSA and Diplomatic Security should all be screaming bloody murder and demanding a full and unfettered forensic analysis... but I'd bet more good money that none of it will ever happen. If I were Breitbart I'd be all over those particular alphabet soups for a response."

Agreed, hell even using yahoo e-mail would have had more security, how often was her e-mail server patched?
If she wanted it secure for the level of security that was required she would have had to HIRE A FULLTIME ADMINISTRATOR for the damned thing. That is about 100K a year for her E-mail, I sincerely DOUBT that she did that.

There is no doubt it is way to late for that.... We’ll be stuck with emails coming out from the various people she swapped emails with... coming out for the next few years.
Besides all the compromised national security, it proves (once more) that Obama is a liar.
In the end, the Obamas and Clintons are extra-legal families. Like in the banana republics of Central and South America, they can do anything they want and the willing mass of drones who live here in the US does not care. And, you will be in trouble, maybe physical danger if you push too hard. We are coming to a point where the unthinkable may be only way to clean out the crud. Nothing will happen because of the EMail scandal, nor the scandal where the Clintons accepted money for their foundation from countries with throwback attitudes towards women. And the women will still vote for Hilary saying that it is some sort of GOP conspiratorial lie about all those foreign funds.
The e-mails probably stopped, though, when Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, and the Current Occupant mutually unfriended each other.
After that, they would only meet in the same room, face-to-face, with several other parties in attendance.
Not exactly Fitzgerald Thomas Grant III and Olivia Pope.
