Funny the elaborate steps that governments take when all they have to do is step back and let the free market take over.

They can’t deliver toilet paper, but they can come up with this.
This would take a large-scale internet infrastructure, wouldn’t it? Who maintains that? Where do the people who maintain the anti-hoarding infrastructure get their groceries and other vital supplies?

As another FReeper said last week:
In Venezuela, what do you call toilet paper?
Hand.

Next scene in this script; Venezuela suddenly running out of gloves! Using gloves can enable multiple (illegal) purchases over the shortage quotas. Black Market Gloves are a hot item for every family. “Oh, Oh! Donde son todas las guantes?”

" hoarding and panic buying, which the government blames for long lines and widespread shortages of basic goods."
Riiiight. And the government socialist policies had nothing to do with it.

Odd that they would blame Obama’s administration of trying to overthrow the communist regime.
Obama is not capable of going any such thing. BO is too busy overthrowing our own government and constitution.

It is really revealing the mindset of the former Chavez, now Maduro supporters. No matter how much the country spirals into the crapper, these dim bulbs are enjoying the “rich” getting hammered. [”Rich”is anyone with a peso more than they have.] Attention, fools, while Venezuela suffers, Maduro and his entourage aren't suffering one bit. The politically connected never do. It has always been thus in socialist societies and it always will be. Socialism is the equality of shared misery.

Surely, this will fix socialism!

While he’s at it he can give it to the Cubans too.

Incredible the country is broke yet this idiot is going to spend a few million dollars to install finger print trackers.

Venezuela has an average IQ of 84.
They will not solve this on their own. Colonization or a return to the stone age are their options.
