Several elected officials served on the board, including Minneapolis City Council President Barbara Johnson, U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, DFL-Minn., and former City Council Member Robert Lilligren. Most of the elected officials appointed people to serve on their behalf, as allowed by state statute.
As criticism intensified, the board suspended Davis in December. Now he is making a claim against the organization, saying he is owed more than $260,000 in deferred compensation. He earned $273,060 in salary, bonuses and deferred compensation in 2011.
The Democrats are up to their armpits in this one. Community Action and the IRRRB are nothing more than liberal slush funds, and this time they got caught.
Ah the joys of incorporating the Marxist concept of “multiculturalism” into American life. When the Amendment to the US Constitution failed that would have defined the Christian nature of the US in the early 1960’s, the culture was never legally defined and the deterioration and decadence commenced.
“The Democrats are up to their armpits in this one. Community Action and the IRRRB are nothing more than liberal slush funds, and this time they got caught.”
The House of Representatives has the power during the budget process to stop appropriating these slush funds that allowed Barack Obama to rise to his current job, fund the comfortable lifestyles of Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson, keep support Bill Ayers in undermining public education, and keep agitators hard at work stirring up resentment and violence in communities such as Ferguson.
Will the House Republicans this year once again fully fund the flow of funds from the treasury to the social advocacy groups who gratefully pay a tithe for these funds back to the Democrat Party. If the GOP can’t even cut off the taxpayer money siphoned off to fund the political opposition, what can it do?
This is Minnesota AND Minneapolis. Democrat corruption here doesn't even raise an eyebrow. Dayton just gave legal raises in pay to a bunch of Democrat cronies. The raises were for amounts much higher than the 90% of the taxpayers in this state make in a year.
Common knowledge, except, apparently at the Strib.
Nobody robs banks anymore. The real easy money is stealing from the taxpayers.
I’m sorry, but we are going to have to start hanging thieves in this country. There are just too many of them. Too many people have lost their fear of jail.
Being that he’s from MN, can’t blame the Davis guy for taking “tropical cruises”. LOL!
