After debating all night, the Wisconsin Assembly passed a right-to-work bill Friday which is designed to end mandatory union membership in the state.
The policy, which has passed in 24 states, outlaws forced union dues as a condition of employment. After a state version of the policy passed the Wisconsin Senate last week it was sent to the Assembly where representatives heard testimony from labor experts, union leaders and the public before voting 62-35 in favor of the legislation.
Mark Mix, the president of the National Right to Work Committee, praised the Assembly for moving the legislation to Gov. Scott Walkers desk.
No person should be forced to financially support a private organization they do not agree with as a condition of getting or keeping a job, Mix told The Daily Caller News Foundation. Now that Wisconsins State Assembly has joined the State Senate in voting to expand workplace freedom for Wisconsin workers, we call on Governor Walker to act swiftly and sign the bill into law.

Good.
Another example of Gov. Walker picking the right fight, and winning it. Actions, not words.
This is not Nazi Germany, North Korea or the old Soviet Union. Americans should not be FORCED to join a union if they want to work.
I wonder why the FleeBaggers didn’t flee.
It's so obvious to those of us who believe in freedom...
Republican pols in Missouri told us to give them a Majority. We did. Then they asked for a Super-Majority. We did. Now they ask us to wait until we get a Republican Governor before trying to pass Right to Work. Republican pols in Missouri don't GO wobbly, they ARE wobbly!
In the old Soviet Union, union membership was mandatory, but the unions were organs of the state. They didn’t do one thing for their workers. We have the same thing with communist lap dogs like Dick Trumka leading our unions. There is no good reason to force workers to support a movement that cuts their throats.

Green Bay dude needs to eat a salad once in a while.
It’s worth noting that EVERY GOP MEMBER of the Wisconsin General Assembly voted in favor of the bill. Well done!
Thses days, joining a union is nothing more than joining the DemocRAT Campaign Donors Club.
I am liking Gov. Walker more and more each day...
Many people in all these pictures remind me of a Tony Soprano line in regards to Bobby Bacala. “I have 2 words for you, Salad Bar”....
Right to Work on the way in WI. Walker will sign on Monday.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
The unions lose again! How many billions of dollars have unions extorted from forced membership of people only to spend it on socialist causes?
LOL at the pics of the demonrat losers.
Their precious commie unions are dying faster than ever.
We were forced for over 20 years to pay into the state workers union. Gov. Walker saved us from that. I am eternally grateful for his bravery and fortitude as the thugs relentlessly and shamelessly threatened and harassed him, his family and other good legislators and their families. God Bless Them All.
