Matthews: Reckless, Racist Republicans Ready to Go All Goldwater

Say "1964." and those of us old enough might remember the appearance on Ed Sullivan's show of some little British group called the Beatles. But Chris Matthews recalls something else: the decision of the Republican party to nominate Mr. Conservative, Barry Goldwater, and his ensuing wipeout by LBJ.
On his MSNBC show tonight, Matthews suggested that Republicans are in a similarly reckless mood, and might well nominate a true conservative, electoral consequences be damned. And, oh yeah, Chris contended that the GOP would do so out of racist motives.

In about fifty years of reading articles by libs where they discuss conservatives, I've yet to read one where the lib scribbler/talking head/general fool ever bothered to discuss conservatism. It's always those nasty conservatives want to take away civil rights from minorities, starve children, kill the elderly, and keep women barefoot and pregnant.
They don't have the guts to honestly discuss why conservatives oppose big government. It is assumed by libs that the bigger the government the better. None of their stupid social programs work, and they can't figure it out. Blame conservatives...yeah, that's the answer. (snickerz0

Mathews is not good enough to be called an ass. He really should find professional help.
