BISMARCK – North Dakota’s House majority leader said Monday no apology is planned for the decision to stop a Muslim from delivering the chamber’s opening prayer on Ash Wednesday because some members wanted a Christian pastor to give the invocation.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations issued a statement Friday calling on North Dakota Republican Party leaders to apologize to Dr. Nadim Koleilat, who ended up delivering the Senate prayer that day.

Agreed. Pencil the Iman in for the next February 30th.
Or the day after never also works.

If he wants to pray to Allah, he’s welcome to return to the sandtrap that he crawled out of and pray to Allah right there.

to show the nation who has the balls and who calls the shots today.

And you and I know, it’s not the decent, civil moral man/woman anymore. Its the protected classes/races/sexual identity groups that have the muscle today.

Invite the Imam to give the prayer on Stonewall Riots Day. Could be enlightening.

To piss Christians and Jews off of course. There is no other reason to give a religion that wants to kill you and enslave your women a podium.

I want to know who thought it was a great idea to have a Muslim give an invocation for a Christian religious holiday to begin with.
They don’t observe Lent and Ash Wednesday in Muslim sociopolitical religion!

Too bad Christians don’t have the organization that homosexuals and muslims do.

We have God.

Thing is, we will appear to be losing before we win it all. Nothing is surprising me. God will not be mocked.

That we have a muslim cleric even delivering a prayer to our assembly’s is a sure sign this nation is on the road to judgement & destruction.

It doesn’t matter if he didn’t deliver it on Ash Wednesday or not. He still switched dates and delivered his prayer.

At one time there was indeed a February 30th.

There is a tombstone in St. Peter’s church graveyard in Lewes, DE with a Feb. 30th inscription.

When Muslimes realized it was Ash Wednesday they should have withdrawn the offer voluntarily - once again Muslim organizations have shown they’re lowlifes.

And I would not have put it past the imam to have angled for the Wednesday prayer slot for precisely that reason--that is was a holy day for Catholics(Christians).

Imagine if you or I were to demand to say whatever we wanted in a mosque.

How do you think THAT would go over?
