A Cincinnati man is suing LA Fitness after he said operators of the gym in Oakley told him he was not allowed to pray in the locker room after his workout.
Western Hills High School alumnus Mohamed Fall is a practicing Muslim and a former college basketball star who has used the LA Fitness facility on Marburg Avenue since 2013, according to his lawsuit filed in federal court Monday.
Fall claimed in his suit that he was accosted by three LA Fitness employees while he was engaged in quiet prayer in an empty obscure corner of an at the time unoccupied locker room" after a workout session Jan. 29.
He said the employees told him he was not allowed to pray in the gym and if he did not comply with their direction, he would be escorted out and not allowed to return. The workers told Fall the decision was made by a corporate manager who had witnessed his prayer that day, the lawsuit states.

LA Fitness is well within its rights as a PRIVATE BUSINESS to stand up for the values of its staff and management. But expect this to be the next Hobby Lobby once the libtards get hold of it.

I hear tell that LA fitness uses lard based lubricants on its equipment...

Separation of church and state! Separation of church and state!
No separation of mosque and state, though.

It’s a locker room and not a mosque for some filthy moslem to try to conquer via intimidation.

I thought that you had no right to exercise your beliefs outside of your house of worship. That is what the judge ruled against a baker for refusing to bake a cake for a gay wedding.

The LA Fitness in our quiet suburb is notorious for locker room theft. I think his time, no matter what it is called, spent in locker room would be considered loitering. All LA Fitness needs to say is no one, Jew, Christian, or Muslim is allowed to pray in locker room.
Besides a man on his knees in a locker room is creepy and disgusting to the max.

They used to toss out little oriental rugs on the sidewalks here. Once someone even did so in the middle of Grand Central Station.
Don't see that anymore, though.

I predict they will back down and apologize and settle out of court. Too bad.
Between the muzzies and the homos, we don’t have a chance.
