TED CRUZ HEADED TO MUNICH, IOWA, AND NEW HAMPSHIRE

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) appears to be ramping up his travel schedule leading up to a potential bid to win the GOP’s 2016 presidential nomination.

First, along with several other senators and House members, Cruz will be in Munich, Germany, for an international security conference. Todd Gillman reports:

Senate Armed Services Chairman John McCain is leading the congressional delegation, which includes 10 senators and five House members. Four of the senators and two of the congressmen are Democrats.

Cruz aides said the senator will engage in important discussions about security challenges facing the United States. Unsaid: this sort of thing also helps an aspiring presidential candidate to bone up, look serious and score points.

Come March 15, Cruz will be speaking at a Grafton County GOP event in New Hampshire. That follows a March 7 event in Iowa – “the first Iowa Agriculture Summit,” where he is expected, “along with former Gov. Rick Perry and a number of other likely candidates.”

I love Ted but can someone, anyone, start paying attention to what Obama is doing during this early campaign season? Net Neutrality, not enforcing the court injunction on immigration, and the rest?
