San Diego Local News Labels President Obama As Rape Suspect
A local San Diego news station has found themselves in the spotlight after portraying President Obama as a rapist during a news report. The photo was displayed for five seconds until the error was noticed. Oops!
Fox 5 San Diego ran a segment at about 10:04 p.m. where anchor Kathleen Bade said, “The only suspect in a sex assault at SDSU will not be charged.” At that time, a photo of Obama accompanied her spiel, appearing just above her left shoulder.
The photo remained there for a five seconds, but assignment editor Mike Wille says everyone in charge noticed immediately. “Yeah, there was an accident when they had an over-the-shoulder” display, said Willie to the Times of San Diego. “It wasn’t on purpose.”
When asked why there was no acknowledgment of the error let alone an apology, Willie responded by saying, “They really don’t do that when it’s a small thing like that.”
It’s understanding why they would consider this a small mistake, considering Obama has been raping Americans since he took office.
