PITTSBURGH (KDKA) The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will be off the road for a while.
The truck slammed into a pole near Harrisburg today. No one was hurt, but the truck is pretty banged up, including a smashed windshield and serious damage to the front of the bun fender.
Oscar Mayer has several wienermobiles, all shaped like a hot dog bun.

Just kidding ma’am... but this one did seem to be a real crash. Maybe too many texted LOLs to a boyfriend?

If that had happened in Venezuela, the hungry Venezuelans would have eaten it.

Been by that spot a thousand times. That section of road is under construction to replace a bridge over tracks into the Enola yards. It’s lumpy with narrow, shifting lanes. The wind might have had something to do with it too.

D-Day: Hey, quit your blubberin’. When I get through with this baby you won’t even recognize it.
Otter: Flounder, you can’t spend your whole life worrying about your mistakes! You ****ed up... you trusted us! Hey, make the best of it! Maybe we can help.
Flounder: [crying] That’s easy for you to say! What am I going to tell Fred?
Otter: I’ll tell you what. We’ll tell Fred you were doing a great job taking care of his car, but you parked it out back last night and this morning... it was gone. We report it as stolen to the police. D-Day takes care of the wreck. Your brother’s insurance company buys him a new car.
Flounder: Will that work?
Otter: Hey, it’s gotta work better than the truth.

The red car looks more than a little vaguely obscene.
As for the article - so much potential in the headline writing -
major fail.

I know right where that is. A little further down the road (back in the day) would be Sensuous Sound Systems and just beyond that, Busch Gardens. No?
