TODAY I CHOOSE TO SUCCEED!

I am here because of prior choices I have made. My thoughts control my actions. My actions determine my destiny. My destiny is controlled by my choices.

Today, I choose to …

• Live my life with honor, courage and commitment,
• Follow the rules and do my best in all my endeavors,
• Perform like a mature and professional military person,
• Be honest with myself and not make excuses for my actions
• Admit when I’m wrong and be held accountable
• Maintain a positive attitude.

I am who I am and where I am because of my choices.
Today I choose to succeed!

Prayer: Dear God, I pray that you will be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Help me always to choose the path which honors You, my family and my country. Amen.

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

I just arrived back from Seattle after having spent the day with daughter-girl. We had a nice brunch and visit and she didn't work me too hard :-)

Now it's time to relax and FReep.

Thank you very much, Kathy! I had a computer crash and have been off-line for about a half hour - seems to be resolved.

We had a snow squall move through around 7-7:30 - as we were at our Valentine's Day repast. I found a new recipe for Scampi with Fettuccine. We had a dry run a couple of weeks ago with my sister and BIL over - very well received.

The usual accompaniments - rustic sourdough baguette, Brie, Champagne Veuve Cliquot.

After all these years, I think she'll keep me. :)
