A special commission set up by Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy after the Sandy Hook shooting may include a number of recommendations in its final report from registering all firearms, to tracking ammo, and screening owners.

I invite them to come to my home and serialize my ammo.
and all left wingers imprisoned.
And this would stop Psycho Lanza from shooting up your kiddies how?
All Liberals should be repositories of lead.
Dear Newtown panel:
Opinions vary. Thanks SO much for sharing yours!
:-)
NUTS!!!!!!
Not a word about identifying and dealing with the mentally ill.
It has everything to do with making you (yes YOU PERSONALLY) grovel before them and lick their boots. Only difference between them and Stalin is they haven't (yet) got the guts to try putting us in the Gulag. That's why they want to disarm us. Buncha bloodthirsty, totalitarian bastards ...
some people watch wayyyyy too much TV if they think stuff like this is possible
SWIVE YOU Connecticut AND SWIVE YOU MALLOY!
The casual rainy-day patriot in this country will ‘think’ that it is of one mind and enjoys the same value of liberty, sovereignty and unfettered intrusion by government.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Iirc the gun owning citizens of CT sent a pretty strong message when 85% of owners of weapons covered under the post-Newtown registration law refused to comply with it. The figures being tossed around were that amounted to 300,000 guns owned by 100,000 citizens. Who by their act of mass civil disobedience opened themselves up to arrest, trial and conviction as Class D felons.
And the state quickly backed away from initial attempts to actually do something about it.
So this cute little report by folks who certainly think very highly of themselves and their product, is funtionally and practically irrelevant.
But the left closed almost all of these institutions in the 1960s and 1970s because they didn't want to stigmatize the mentally ill. They wanted to mainstream them into society.
They also wanted to import members of a certain violent religion for the same reason and not allow us to profile them.
9-11 and Sandy Hook are just two of many legacies of that insane policy. It will change only when the insane left is rendered politically powerless.
They don’t care if it’s possible. They’d be happier if it isn’t - WITH the requirement in place nonetheless.
How orderly! It’s nice to feel safer with knowing bad guys will have serial numbers on their bullets. I prefer to be robbed and shot dead with attention to details that make it easier for the state to inventory the crime scene.
They ARE the mentally ill.
::rolls eyes::
How exactly would registered guns or serialized ammunitions have effected the crime there name implies their panel is concerned with? I’ll answer that myself, not in any possible way. These people think it would be somehow better for little Mr. Nutjob to kill his mom with a registered gun and use serialized ammunition to commit his crime? No they don’t. They think registered guns are easier to confiscate and they think making ammunition more expensive will punish sport shooters and therefor punish the NRA.
CT Gov. Dannel Malloy
