Iirc the gun owning citizens of CT sent a pretty strong message when 85% of owners of weapons covered under the post-Newtown registration law refused to comply with it. The figures being tossed around were that amounted to 300,000 guns owned by 100,000 citizens. Who by their act of mass civil disobedience opened themselves up to arrest, trial and conviction as Class D felons.

And the state quickly backed away from initial attempts to actually do something about it.

So this cute little report by folks who certainly think very highly of themselves and their product, is funtionally and practically irrelevant.

How orderly! It’s nice to feel safer with knowing bad guys will have serial numbers on their bullets. I prefer to be robbed and shot dead with attention to details that make it easier for the state to inventory the crime scene.
