Iraq is a minefield of munitions and weaponry. Part of the problem of fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan is the constant transfer of arms and resupply into the country.
Previous wars in Korea and Vietnam were similar if you get my drift.

I was trying to research this article/set of postings and found something from an ISIS butcher who said that ISIS is receiving $600/person, with money routed through the US.

I recently heard some retired general on Fox say that ISIS was making a half million to a million a day off the sale of oil on the black market.

If you’ve got money, you can get arms. AND ISIS is one of the best funded terror groups in the world by far!
They overrun places because the local opposing forces know that these guys are ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL and if push comes to shove, a lot of these local forces are good me to save themselves!

Who is supplying and rearming ISIS?The US, indirectly. They give weapons to the Iraqis, who give them to (let them be captured by) ISIS. And the US supplied terrorist groups in Syria who passed the weapons to ISIS.
