Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren thinks MSNBC's liberal host Rachel Maddow would be a fine fit to replace Brian Williams as anchor of NBC's "Nightly News."
"How about a woman?" wrote Van Susteren on her Gretawire blog Wednesday. "My suggestion: Rachel Maddow. Whether you agree with her or not, she will stir things up and provoke a debate. She is also the right price — she is already on the payroll!"
Van Susteren's suggestion comes in light of news that Brian Williams has been suspended for six months as anchor and managing editor of NBC's "Nightly News."
Van Susteren wrote that NBC News should experiment with its newscast format, perhaps mirroring cable news where commentary and debate take precedence.

I would listen to a woman read the news only if she is hot looking. Could you imagine having to look at Hillary rad the news...and with her voice?
I'm old school. I think something is serious only when a man says it. When a woman says it...it's merely gossip. That's why they have women on the morning shows, talking about the latest fashions and diet plans. While the men are on in the evening, talking about world events.
Even when a woman tries to read the world news with a pouty face, I can't really take her seriously.

Yes, I read various news accounts of this crime....however MSLSD.com reported the crime but there is nothing reported of his left-wing leanings and favorites.

I think it’s safe to say Greta just lost a large portion of her audience. I, for one, have been slowly switching over to Lou Dobbs.
