Viagra is still covered by TRICARE, the military’s health insurance system, as well as “External vacuum appliances,” or penis pumps, “penile implants and testicular prostheses,” and hormone injections to treat Erectile Dysfunction.

This is an absolute outrage. While this revelation is a veritable comedy vein of one-liners, sexual innuendo, it's no laughing matter. I guarantee you that when the military was an all male fighting force, none of these superfluous, self-indulgent, totally unnecessary medical expenses would have appeared as a military expense. This half a million dollars of outrageous military profligacy is the result of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual) freaks of nature being allowed to serve in the military along with their freak of nature needs being served as well. My God! External vacuum appliances,“penile implants and testicular prostheses", all part of a modern day fighting force in Obama's army.

How about spending some money on REAL ISSUES?

Why is Hasan breathing?

Why are his enablers breathing?

Why does al Qaeda meet at 1600?

The contracts were filed under “Troop Support.”

Since young alpha males with raging hormones need little help in that department, I would bet that very little of the Viagra went to ‘troops’.

I read at least one story some time ago that some of these drugs were in high demand in Afghanistan and other theatres. They may have been used as a form of payment/bribe for info.

I doubt any single one of Obama's recreational golf trips costs as little as $504,816, so this doesn't even amount to a rounding error. It disturbs me not nearly as much as most of the other ways the US the gov't wastes, squanders and steals my tax dollars.

How many US troops does one think actually got this treatment? I’d say very few if any. These stiffy meds the Pentagon purchased more than likely went directly to the DC politicians, federal agencies and the Banksters on Wall Street since they are the ones doing all of the screwing. I’m over 60 and I got my Viagra and Rogaine mixed up one time. My hair got so stiff I couldn’t come it.

You have absolutely no proof of this. I'd be surprised if even a tenth of this funding went to homosexuals.

I may have spent a similar amount. I am in my early sixties, divorced and dating. It’s been more fun than my last “wild oats “ period in my twenties.

However, erections lasting more than 4 hours are not as great as I might have imagined in my twenties.

LOL!

I believe when a soldier retires from the military, he can keep his Tricare Insurance, so older retired veterans should be able to get the medicine/items regarding erection problems just as regular insurance covers those needs. Medicare also pays an amount for those items. Some may not believe erectile dysfunction should be considered a medical problem, but it is. It is part of a functioning body and is important to men and their partners. That desire does not go away just because one gets older.

If the Pentagon Spent $504,816 on Viagra Last Year, that means they’re looking for their balls.

Good grief! Friggin,’ deskjockeys..
