Pope Francis has decried the “inhuman” conditions facing migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border and has encouraged communities there not to judge people by stereotypes but welcome migrants and work to end discrimination.

Francis made the appeal in a letter to a Jesuit priest who helps organize Catholic teens in Nogales, Arizona, to support the Kino Border Initiative, which advocates a more humane solution to migration. The letter was dated Dec. 19 but was made public on Kino’s website recently. […]

Francis has made migration one of the priorities of his pontificate and will likely raise the issue when he visits the U.S. in September. On Thursday, U.S. officials confirmed he would address Congress on Sept. 24, the first pope to do so. …

They should be deported to Argentina: Europe of South America.

The Pope should tear down his own wall.

There is no way the Pope knows this first hand — he’s being told this by operatives, liberal operatives.

Time to tune out this Pope cause he hasn’t the sense or decency to ignore the controllers.

You forgot....we do all that and educate them. This Pope is an interesting guy...feels a lot of people’s pain and I don’t doubt some of his concerns are legitimate, but he’s wrong on this one. The US is bending over backward to give these people everything they can.

This sure seems like some one who keeps trying to signal to Catholics which party to stay loyal to.

I am trying, very hard, to see how we taxpayers are responsible for these inhumane conditions.

How are conditions in Italy for the muslim boat people flooding their shores?

How much is the pope spending doing to alleviate their inhumane conditions?

How much is the Roman Catholic church doing for the plight of the children being sold into sex slavery, those little ones being beheaded, crucified, and buried alive?

Talk is cheap.

I think the POPE needs to go visit the countries that force their people to live inhumanely, like Honduras, Guatamala, Mexico.

What does the Hope Pope expect? This is not planned immigration central. This is Utopian liberal fascist Barrack Hussein Obama waging demographic warfare on America.

Before it s over Texans will not only making sure the conditions are inhumane, they will be shooting them as soldiers of drug cartels armed by Obama himself.

If the Pope is just going to berate America, maybe he should be uninvited to speak to Congress. Lord knows we get enough criticism from the president.

The Mexican nation has centuries’ long history of discriminating against the Indian peasants that populate the country. The pope needs to lecture Mexican government officials about discrimination and stereotypes. Also, the Unites States and Mexico are NOT churches.

Tell the Pope to sell half the artwork of the Vatican and give it to these people. Really fed up with this Communist Pope.

I’d like to see the Pope condemn the government of Mexico.

Hey popety pope:

Why don’t you put your energies into getting their home countries to improving conditions so they don’t have to endure inhuman conditions sneaking into the USA?

Here’s a thought: tell them to respect American law and quit trespassing across the border.

We should tell that to the catholic priests, bishops and the pope encouraging them

Pope should be aiming his comments on the home conditions of these people wanting to leave their countries, not on those who are forced to deal with this invasion.

And whose religious philosophy is the Central American governments founded on?

Exactly what I was thinking. Also betting there are some pretty inhumane conditions in Italy. I am thinking the Pope doesn’t think too highly of the USA.
