ISLAMIC TRIBUNAL CONFIRMED IN TEXAS; ATTORNEY CLAIMS ‘IT’S VOLUNTARY’
BreitBart ^ | 27 Jan 15 | Bob Price

Posted on 01/27/2015 9:03:01 AM PST by LSUfan

An Islamic Tribunal using Sharia law in Texas has been confirmed by Breitbart Texas. The tribunal is operating as a non-profit organization in Dallas. One of the attorneys for the tribunal said participation and acceptance of the tribunal’s decisions are “voluntary.”

Breitbart Texas spoke with one of the “judges,” Dr. Taher El-badawi. He said the tribunal operates under Sharia law as a form of “non-binding dispute resolution.” El-badawi said their organization is “a tribunal, not arbitration.” A tribunal is defined by Meriam-Webster’s Dictionary as “a court or forum of justice.” The four Islamic attorneys call themselves “judges” not “arbitrators.”

El-badawi said the tribunal follows Sharia law to resolve civil disputes in family and business matters. He said they also resolve workplace disputes.

the Supremes ruled it unconstitutional

Which Supremes (state or federal) ruled what unconstitutional (Sharia Law or the law banning Sharia Law)?

It doesn’t. It’s the same MO.
First equal treatment, then special protection, then privileged treatment.

totally agree

Well, as long as every case results in the deportation of both parties, I’m okay with it.

......

Breitbart Texas asked what happens when there is a conflict between Sharia law and
Texas law. El-badawi said most of the time, the laws are in agreement. When pushed
further he admitted that, “we follow Sharia law.” However, he explained, “If the
parties are not satisfied with the tribunal’s decision, they do not have to
accept it and they can take the matter to Texas civil courts.” He did not say
what the social ramifications of rejecting the “judge’s” decision would be.

He agreed; after we chopped off his head, he had no complaints.

It's only a matter of time before the Imams demand the Sharia courts decisions override US courts whenever there is a conflict.
After all, in their minds, Allah's law must supersede all other laws.

First Muslims will be pressed into compliance, then gradually others whenever one of the parties is Muslim.
Every time our court upholds a Sharia court decision, no matter how reasonable it seems at the time, it will set a legal precedent.
When not, there will be "Arab anger" in the streets.
Eventually, step by step, we will all be roped in.

Christian church sponsored arbitration don't use a completely different set of laws than US courts.
It's only a way for the parties to avoid court costs, not to evade US laws.

Non profit... subsidized by government... is not voluntary... it is tax payer paid.

But again, the federal loves to mine the State with its own “civil rights” outfits, completely subverting the Constitution and good government, subsidizing so called non profits.

Shariah is terrorism, Charlie Hebdo massacre was Shariah.

I find it funny that muslims do not warn us about how their outfit actually works and gets results, except for the terrorists who do tell it like it is but are not taken seriously... even those converting from islam to christianity are not taken seriously.

Legally the issue is not new.
http://www.pewforum.org/2013/04/08/applying-gods-law-religious-courts-and-mediation-in-the-us/

But the issue is that sharia courts often apply punishments that are not legal, this is not meaningful in the case of adults but if ANY minor is involved then the State has the responsibility aggressively pursue malefactors be they cloaked as clergy for not.

And I would be a omni-phobe (hater if everything) to oppose.

Good, bring a Shotgun to the meeting, it's not an official court in Texas.
In fact, it's another form of Government, and America has laws against that.
No law can be withstanding outside of our Constitution and means of enacting laws.
Trying to enforce and create a false form of Government in the USA is Treason, and Sedition.

Thanks for that.

I'd like to live long enough to see (at least) the start of the final crusade.

Will be convenient if there is a need to ‘try someone’ who commits a mooslem act of violence. Everyone goes free, or everyone gets beheaded.

Is that the way you see it?

“Sounds like a form of arbitration.”

Sounds like a perfect setup for a false flag operation.
Fake a raggy get together, blow it up, blame it on redneck
Texans or most likely blame it on the Tea Party.
Every bleeding heart tard would be running over
each other to kiss muslim butt. And to appease the muslims
demand for human sacrifice the feds will give them one and
not let it slide like Ferguson.

Does that mean a head-chopper can be found not-guilty by this islamic tribunal and escape US criminal justice via the Double-Jeopardy Clause?

Of course! Why, his whore daughter was seen in public without her burqa! Had he not killed her, he would have lost honor!

(Scenario purely hypothetical...for now.)
