An Islamic Tribunal using Sharia law in Texas has been confirmed by Breitbart Texas. The tribunal is operating as a non-profit organization in Dallas. One of the attorneys for the tribunal said participation and acceptance of the tribunals decisions are voluntary.
Breitbart Texas spoke with one of the judges, Dr. Taher El-badawi. He said the tribunal operates under Sharia law as a form of non-binding dispute resolution. El-badawi said their organization is a tribunal, not arbitration. A tribunal is defined by Meriam-Websters Dictionary as a court or forum of justice. The four Islamic attorneys call themselves judges not arbitrators.
El-badawi said the tribunal follows Sharia law to resolve civil disputes in family and business matters. He said they also resolve workplace disputes.

The bearded savages a taking a piece of the USA, a little bit at a time.
Correct, as long as it does not break “Caesar’s” law.
Its no different, at the moment than church members coming before the pastor to resolve an issue.
As long as it stays at this level, its fine. —
But they also mentioned workplace disagreements.
That is probably no longer muzzie vs muzzie.
Then it’s me vs muzzie. And I would be a omni-phobe (hater if everything) to oppose.
If they don't want to go to U.S. courts, they should go to where Sharia law is accepted. The United States of America does not recognize Sharia law. DON'T LET THIS CAMEL IN THE TENT!!! SEND THEM PACKING TEXAS.
It could be considered arbitration of making yourself subject to it was voluntary. It's not.
If you are a Muslim, rejecting Sharia in favor of US courts makes you an apostate. Being an apostate carries the death penalty under Islam. If a Sharia court is available, Muslims MUST accept its jurisdiction and abide by its judgement, or be declared apostate.
It worked so well in France...
First they ask for equal treatment, then they’ll ask for legal recognition by other legal bodies, then they’ll ask it’ll be the law of the land.
So how does this differ from gay equality and same sex marriage and how that has become the law of the land? they have to start someplace and this is just the beginning just as the gay stuff got started
Gays don’t generally blow up bakeries and churches...
I think this thread just wound its’ way through to the correct answer.
Allowing this court effectively enlists muslims into a choice of being compliant or being an apostate - and suffer brutal consequences handed down by such a sharia court. There should be NO tolerance on this. You want a sharia compliant society then GTFO.
It doesn’t matter what it’s called. The problem is that it has been allowed to exist. It’s the Moozie’s nose under the edge of the tent. The tent will be full of Moozies very soon IF it’s not stopped.
“Sharia law to resolve civil disputes in family and business matters”
Replacing divorce law and contract with the will of Imams.
I feel so much better now.
Women will see the crushing effects. Mark my words.
U.K.s highest court: Sharia law is arbitrary and discriminatory

In August 2007, sharia courts began passing judgements. Two more courts are being planned for Edinburgh and Glasgow. Sheikh Faiz-ul-Aqtab Siddiqi, chairman of the governing counsel of the tribunal anticipates the courts will be handling a number of smaller criminal cases in coming years as more muslim clients approach them. "All we're doing is regulating community affairs in these cases" said Sheikh Faiz-ul-Aqtab Siddiqi."It appears the British sharia court allowance is expanding from domestic relations and inheritance to criminal issues as we speak. (2008)"
When it comes to Islam, nothing is as innocuous as it appears. Expect the same explosion of shariah courts here in the US. Once the camels nose is allowed to penetrate the skirt if the tent, it becomes increasingly difficult to push back in this climate of victimology.
In an Islamic zone, reporting a crime (committed by a Muslim) to the police, instead of to the Sharia court, will probably get you the "snitches get stitches" treatment.
The camels nose is in the tent.
someone should start a fundamentalist mormon court that allows plural marriages and see how fast it takes Texas to shut them down.
Gays dont generally blow up bakeries and churches...
That’t true, they just sue them in court and try to shut down their business
For now.
