Legally the issue is not new.

But the issue is that sharia courts often apply punishments that are not legal, this is not meaningful in the case of adults but if ANY minor is involved then the State has the responsibility aggressively pursue malefactors be they cloaked as clergy for not.
I'd like to live long enough to see (at least) the start of the final crusade.
