People were using trash cans to dig out their cars at the Hilton where I was staying.
Luckily, I did not have a rental car to turn in at the airport.
Took the cardboard from one of my laundered shirts and wrote:
Minnesota Driver - Will drive you and your car car to the airport.
Had 5 offers in under 10 seconds.
Minniesoda native?
Cool. Dits.
Nothing like plowing into Hugh snow drifts or a series of them.. Like a winter sport for some of us big dummies.
Let’s see a TESLA or a PRIUS bust a drift or two a 20 below!
[[Got stuck in New Jersey for three (3!) days during the blizzard of ‘78.]]
We moved during a storm in the 90’s that was 3 feet in one storm- Had to shovel BOTH places in order to move out and then into new home- the deck in new home the snow was up to my waist- Apparently freak storms are never to happen naturally any l ogner according to global warming scam artists
Ingenious. I met two women from Minnesota when my husband and I were in Flagstaff the other. One told us that she drove her Camaro across icy lakes during the 70s to get to school and ice—no biggie. And when the lake froze over, the town would re-establish their bars, restaurants, etc., on the ice. She knew people with two story ice fishing houses.
I have to hand to you stalwart Minnesotans. thank-you for the story—I will pass it on.
