Palin: 'Screw the Hollywood left'
The Hill ^ | January 24, 2014 | Jessica Taylor

Posted on 01/24/2015 4:10:30 PM PST by jazusamo

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) lambasted Hollywood liberals in a rambling speech at the Iowa Freedom Summit on Saturday.

The party’s 2008 vice presidential nominee, who said this week she’s “ interested” in a presidential bid, took the stage with to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” feeding off the energy of the crowd as she jumped from conservative topic to topic.

Her speech was replete with memories of her own trips to Iowa, but she also focused on one recent controversy — defending criticism over the country’s top-grossing movie, “American Sniper.”

Palin detailed how she and her family were friends with Chris Kyle, the Navy SEAL whose story is told in the biopic about the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

“Screw the left in Hollywood who can’t understand what it is we see in someone like chris kyle and all of our vets,” Palin said, referencing comments from filmmaker Michael Moore and others who criticized the movie’s portrayal of war.

Palin said the Oscar-nominated movie from director Clint Eastwood was breaking records because “America needs a hero again” like Kyle, who’s credited with the most confirmed kills in U.S. history.

The Tea Party favorite also took shots at the Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton, saying the country was ready for different leaders. She slammed the left for pretending to offer change but instead readying for a “coronation — rinse, repeat, Clinton, rinse, repeat.”

Palin also slammed President Obama’s government overreach, saying his executive actions when Congress didn’t act were akin to being “like an overgrown little boy who’s acting kind of spoiled.”

She urged conservatives, when considering their GOP candidates, to remember their “bold, conservative colors, not pale establishment pastels.”

Ping to Sarah's Amazing List!

Thank You for the Ping jazusamo!

Opinion is all over the Place Regarding the Speech itself. (I thought it was pretty good! but to each his own)

Either way, at least Conservatives are starting 2016 strong by slamming Hilary and exposing the RINO Operatives both there and on the net.

I am Optimistic :)

I would rather not, Sarah. I would probably contract some incurable disease if I did.

Sarah can’t win in 2016 because of the 24 hour liberal smear machine. (I can see Russia, etc) Whoever the candidate is, it will be a tough battle to overcome the media bias against her or any other non Democratic candidate, and the liberal debate “moderators” who, as usual, will be on the air facilitators/agitators for the Democrat candidate in debates. Just like we saw in 2012.

But, She can be very effective as a vocal “observer/promoter of the Anti Democrat candidate. She is free to say truthful things that an actual on the ballot conservative candidate could never get away with.

I’ll bet she could win the Republican Senate seat in Arizona where she has a home if she makes it her residence. Or, in Alaska. Winning one of those seats would be an excellent start for a good run for the Presidency. .

She urged conservatives, when considering their GOP candidates...

The GOP has proven they're untrustworthy and certainly not worthy of conservative votes. How many more times do conservative voters have to be kicked in the gonads before they stop considering the GOP altogether?
