Crazy for Ted Cruz – Katie Glueck – POLITICO
South Carolina tea party activists love him, but is that enough in 2016?
This encompasses the strategies that both the left and the Gentry GOP will deploy against the man they fear more than any other, Senator Ted Cruz.
Note the seemingly nominal use of the words “crazy,” and “Tea Party.” This will be the left’s attack. He’s a crazed right-winger, just like his followers. Nothing gets the puppies of the left barking louder than a Pavlovian mention of “Tea Party.”
On the right, the strategy will be based on “Will it be enough?” And, of course, their answer will be no. They will claim Cruz can’t win, that his conservative base is too small to carry him, and that, as a consequence, we should run somebody more “electable.” A Romney, perhaps. Or a Bush. Or even a Christie.
The way that Cruz can defeat both arguments is to create a bandwagon effect, by winning in the early going, and then taking a couple of the big primaries. That would make him a winner, and his following “big enough.”

On the right, the strategy will be based on Will it be enough? And, of course, their answer will be no. They will claim Cruz cant win, that his conservative base is too small to carry him . . .Well, even if we're not big enough to carry him, we're big enough to make sure, by staying home, that no RINO wins the election.

This crazy right winger “bitter clinger” from flyover PA believes that eight years of a junior Senator sitting in the White Hutt will have been enough.
Give me a governor, a general, a captian of industry—someone who has EXECUTIVE experience.

You are right. No President RINOs!
President Ted Cruz would be the best outcome - a President Hillary Clinton or President Elizabeth Warren would set the country back a few years, but a President RINO would set the country back a generation or more.

False equality between Ted Cruz, a constitutional conservative who has LED the fight for constitutional governance and the Marxist POS in the Oval office.
Furthermore, there have been many horrible Presidents that were previously Governors and many Senators that made fine Presidents.
Give me the Man or Woman willing to lead from a consistent position of principle, fearless and rock-steady.
There are NO potential candidates currently considering running for POTUS who are, or have been Governors who have that type of record.
If you are thinking Scott Walker, think again!:

Senator Ted Cruz, in terms of Leadership, in terms of fidelity to conservative principle, in terms of fearlessness, is head and shoulders above every other potential POTUS candidate with the exception of Governor Sarah Palin.
CRUZ or LOSE!

Sen. Cruz gave the only intelligible speech at the SOTU - what the left and the mushy middle fear is he is speaking the truth. What they call “crazy” is when someone appears who looks at the world with open eyes and judges - as Sen. Cruz convincingly does. Ultimately the left is fearful they are collectively being judged and found worthy of contempt. So they attack, they label. Their collective torch is going out however, while Cruz is setting a blaze all on his own.

The base needs to coalesce in support of Ted Cruz, and ONLY Ted Cruz, early. Let’s render the old “split the conservative base” to the trash heap of history. UNITE behind Ted Cruz and let’s go forward to victory...both in the 2016 primary and the general election.
To: SoConPubbie
No reason for you to smear Walker.

I plan on being the first person in Southern California with a CRUZ 2016 Sticker on the back window of my Car.
I’ll be sure to keep the Insurance paid up on it.
Nothing better than tweaking the Traitorous Liberals here.

The Lord willing, Cruz is destined to win the presidency in a landslide like Ronald Reagan.

Expect to see the term “Gentry GOP” applied to RINOS whom I call GOPES early and often coming from this source.
The GOPES leadership (gop elite statists) learned nothing from 2012.They still seek approval from the media propaganda appar-rats which whey will never get. Believe winning political opposition strategy consists of their approach which is the use of stand for status quo we can fix the bad stuffwith republican cum-by ya will win in 2016. And not the defence of the constitution or of conservative values.
What was worse than that Obama 2015 STOU. Was the direction taken by the GOPES .Not one of those half dozen so called rebuttals made after the speech by the Republicans dealt with, nor dared to,challange or itemize, or even chatacterize Obama’s statements as lies. And it as appears those replys go uncriticiized here in FR. But that is the UNI party direction the GOPES are taking for 2016.

I’d vote for Walker over Cruz based on his proven track record. But this academic because neither is a candidate.

No reason for you to smear Walker.
I'm not smearing anyone. Scott Walker is doing this to himself as he moderates himself in preparation for a POTUS run.
Take it up with him. These are his actions, his statements.
Show me one of links I posted that was not factual.
Show me how my conclusions are illogical or unfair.

I'd be thrilled with either, in the priority that you presented them in.
Both would lead to land-slide wins.

So Chris Christie, Colin Powell or Carly Fiorina (governor, general, captain of industry) would be better than Ted Cruz? I’m having a hard time seeing that.
And before you counter with Walker or Perry, immigration alone makes then both suspect.
