Like millions of hardworking Americans, Rebekah isn't asking for a handout, but she is asking that we look for more ways to help families get ahead.

I find it odd that he used this family in his speech. These people worked hard and got ahead ON THEIR OWN. They didn't ask the government for help. They improved their situation by taking on other jobs, furthering their education, riding the tide until the economy improved. Obama had nothing to do with their success. What a dolt!
