There are gong to be many millions of newly befuddled, fearful, and angry taxpayers this April, hit with the consequences of Obamacares social engineering when they try to file their taxes in April. Many will suffer unexpected financial penalties and costs, especially those accustomed to filing under the simplified tax forms applying to straight salaried people with standard deductions.
H&R Block is warning that [n]o one can understand the New Obamacare tax code requirements for filing this year. In fact, millions of people accustomed to filing the postcard-sized 1040EZ form will now have to file extremely complicated and detailed forms, one of which (IRS Publication 5187) has a 21-page single-spaced instruction manual.

Good...most probably voted for the one
I can’t wait for tax deadline this year when EVERYONE finally gets to pay their Obamacare fine
If you could not afford health insurance before, then you certain can’t afford a fine
H & R Block and every other “tax preparer” is jumping with glee over this.
Nothing but enablers.
Especially since “taxes” for these people refers to the refund they get.
“I hope my taxes hurry up and come back”....my sister
That’s exactly what I thought. Since most of them voted for him, good. I can’t wait to hear all the wailing and gnashing of teeth.
This is the year for massive NON-COMPLIANCE.
Unfortunately the big corp’s like H+R will do ‘free’ returns for the poor. Even the online tax prepares all do it for free for the lower income bunch.
Hahahaha
This is something I didn’t anticipate I must admit. But hey, maybe it’ll serve to rouse the people, making them aware of the tyranny slowly strangulating their collective throats.
Then again maybe it’ll just make people more angry at tax lawyers and accountants.
(Probably the latter)
Whatever.
I hope they spend triple to H&R Block to get it done.
Bunch of dumbasses.
The fine is still a mere fraction of the cost of insurance. It creeps up higher over the next several years, but Obama will be long gone by the time it really starts to hurt... at which point whomever is in office then will probably get blamed by the stupid Obama-fans.
Maybe...the way you will be able to tell is the ones not complaining will be the kool-aid drinkers. If tripling health-care costs and not getting over on the man (read: getting a tax return) won’t make them admit their messiah is a loser, nothing will. Although, I have not seen as many obamba bumper stickers as of late!
Here’s another given. The left will find a way to blame republicans for any negatives that crop up after Obama is gone,
and the media will back up those assertions.
It’s not a tax, it’s not a fee, it’s the “individual shared responsibility payment”.
Obomba akbar!
Expect the commies in DC to introduce legislation limiting the amount of money CPAs can be paid in a year!
Good. Maybe if enough people get mad we can get rid of the SS I mean IRS.
H & R Block and every other tax preparer is jumping with glee over this.
No, they are not happy at all. Another thread showed how screwed up it is and how frustrated H & R Block is.
All those who voted for him with their heads up their a$$ deserve this.
My idiot brother said the same thing- I asked him how much taxes he paid one year and he said “I didn’t pay anything, I got a refund”
A high-school buddy freaked out when his first REAL job showed the taxes taken out and he was expecting to get ALL of it back, once again, like he did when he only made a few hundred dollars a year in high school. He had a car all picked out and was going to put down a $3000 deposit... I asked him “what do you think it means to PAY taxes?”
“he gib you a pho’”
