H & R Block and every other “tax preparer” is jumping with glee over this.

Especially since “taxes” for these people refers to the refund they get.

Unfortunately the big corp’s like H+R will do ‘free’ returns for the poor. Even the online tax prepares all do it for free for the lower income bunch.

This is something I didn’t anticipate I must admit. But hey, maybe it’ll serve to rouse the people, making them aware of the tyranny slowly strangulating their collective throats.
Then again maybe it’ll just make people more angry at tax lawyers and accountants.

I have to wonder if John Koskinen, the IRS commissioner/political stooge, is planning to cite budget cutbacks as a reason for non-enforcement of Obamacare requirements and penalties, as a means of mitigating the political damage.
This is exactly what's going to happen. The majority of those using short form will fill it out as they always have. They won't file the extra forms...and nothing will happen. They'll get their refund with no deductions from it.
Seems if the IRS does figure out someone hasn't paid the penalty they should have, it won't be till years down the road.
I don't believe a tax return/refund is going to be held up while they figure out if they've met the qualifications for Obamacare subsidies.
Quickest way to get tax reform would be to move the deadline day from April 15th to November 1st and eliminate tax withholding. If Americans had to write a big check to the government right before the elections there would be hell to pay in Washington.

It seems the LIVs are about discover “free” comes with a price.
Others call it a nightmare. I call it a needed lesson in natural consequences. Obamacare is one of the most evil, anti-freedom laws in our history, and the low-information voters who still support it desperately need this lesson.
I sincerely hope that the millions of low-information voters are gonna find out the hard way that elections have consequences.

There are places low income people can go to get their returns filled out if the process is beyond them. AARP volunteers are one of them.
