Hijabs are offensive.
I got as far as “New York Times”.
They make it sound like muslims are the victims rather than being prone to being criminals and victimizers. This on the heels of muslims slaughtering 17 unarmed innocents.
The filthy muzzies hate bans on chattelwear for their women, yet demand the government ban pork, ban Jews, ban anything Christian, ban free speech...
Maybe, but certainly burqas are.
For me, the issue is concealment of identity. Burqas, masks and droopy hoodies are for Halloween parties, not public social interaction. Hijab--not so bad (except for what comes with it)--more like a kerchief used in many Eastern European settings.
Oh, by all means, let's try to understand these 7th century throwbacks.
Didn't most of them go to school in France? Did they get graded on their tests?
Or is France failing to teach anything whatsoever about their system of laws? They'd better get to it, and throw those who fail to understand and accept it directly out of the country onto their burqa-padded tushes.

Sorry, I don't think the problem is that the Muslims just don't understand about your European value system. This is not just another "teaching moment".
They want to drive you out of your own country, and you've been hoping against hope that they will have an epiphany which will cause them to stop burning your parked cars, raping your women and plotting your mass murder.
They won't. They want to make you a slave in your own country.
You will NEVER turn them into cheese-eating surrender monkeys. Arm yourselves and grow some balls, or go get measured for your coffin.
It is the Muslims who exclude themselves, the French have bent over backwards to try to accommodate them.
