Democratic vulnerabilities appear to be limited to just two states. Former Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Michael Bennets re-election in Colorado is rated as Leans Democratic. His home-state colleague, Democrat Mark Udall, was defeated in November. And Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid can expect a tough race in Nevada if he seeks re-election. His race is also rated Leans Democratic, as Republicans search for a challenger.
...
Four of the nine seats Democrats lost in 2014 were listed as Tossups nearly two years before the election. In January 2013, Alaska, Montana and North Carolina were rated as Leans Democratic, and Democrats lost the trio last November.
Iowa was the one race Democrats lost that was listed as safe for them in the off-year. But that was because Sen. Tom Harkin decided not to seek re-election. Retirements can fundamentally change a race and pull a state onto the competitive playing field.
Thats why GOP strategists will spend the first months of this cycle trying to avoid retirements. If Arizona Sen. John McCain and Iowa Sen. Charles E. Grassley opt for retirement, it will likely vault their seats into a Tossup status. If they seek re-election, Democrats probably wont mount much of a challenge. (That being said, Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxers retirement does not change the initial partisan outlook of the California Senate race).

And so it begins...”Leans Democrat” becomes the MSM meme for the next two years.
As I said on another thread...if the National GOP had 1/2 a brain, they would start targeting CO and NV right NOW.
Instead I suspect they will pour most of their $$$ into defending McCain and his buddies.
Another reason why they will not get money from us.
Ludicrous claim that Bennet & Reid are “Lean Democrat.” Both won against weak and divisive challengers in 2010. Reid is arguably the most unpopular political figure in Nevada and won only because his opponent was a loser. Any other Republican with a pulse could beat him (except his ‘10 opponent).
If Sandoval runs Reid is dead meat.
Even if he doesn’t we have a fully stocked farm team in Nevada now, no excuses.
IN Co, hopefully no Ken Buck remtach, need someone else. I’m loathe to have Coffman open up that House seat but...
POTUS year helps them both compared to 2010 but hopefully it will a POTUS year where the rats LOSE Colorado and Nevada.
Politics1 list some guy running in CO from the “Boiling Frog Party”

Enviro nazi I guess.
I believe Ballot access is easy in CO.
I’m kinda rooting for Attorney General Adam Laxalt to take his grandfather’s seat.
It was so sweet to see him win despite members of his own family who claimed to be Republicans going out of their way to publicly fellate the rat. I hope he didn’t send them Christmas cards.
He shoulda... “I won, bitches !!!” ;-D
“Im loathe to have Coffman open up that House seat but...”
Romney got 46.5% in Coffman’s CD and 46.1% statewide, so the district is no less Republican than Colorado as a whole. If Coffman is our silver bullet for defeating Bennet, then I hope that he runs and we can take our chances in the House race.
;) You know I appreciate being corrected on my atrocious public school grammar. You'll notice after 8 or 9 times I finally stopped typing "barley". ;d
Regarding the House seat, I agree it would worth the risk, if it's determined Coffman is the right candidate.
Id be happy if amnesty supporter Coffman gets kicked out of congress somehow.
Sandoval, Joe Heck, Cresent, Amodei, Dean Heller and Gardner are amnesty supporters.
Jane Norton would have been there with her mentors McCain and Murkowski.
The worst thing that happened was Sharron Angle losing the house primary in 2006 now NV is wall to wall with RINOs.
Yeah I figure maybe 5 or 6 Republicans in the whole country are really against amnesty, the rest are scum, I’d rather have a 90% democrat Congress than vote for those traitors.

LOL,
Today Mark Levin was ranting that Boehner wont take up his constitutional amendment that takes away many of Obama’s (POTUS) powers and closes government agencies.
He gets so made that congress ignores his demands.
Clint Eastwood: No Best Director nomination for “American Sniper”.
Gee...is this politically motivated? Hmmm...I wonder...
Not official yet but sound like he’s the pick.
Bennett has drawn an early second tier challenger, El Paso County Commissioner Darryl Glenn.

What's interesting is the Levinities constantly argue that the founding fathers were infallible deities who created the PERFECT constitution as written down in 1789, so ANY attempt by later Americans to alter their original text will "destroy our Republic".
Yet then argue the exact opposite point if LEVIN himself wants to amend the Constitution in modern times. Levin is also an infallible deity who knows the answer to everything, so not only CAN we amend the Constitution the way he wants (and in ways the founding fathers NEVER dreamed of!), we MUST do so in order to "save our Republic".
Downright schitzo. Being a Levinite can't be psychologically healthy.
