Freshman Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT), a former Navy commander and Congress’ only SEAL veteran, said Obama’s foreign policy fueled the terrorist attack on the Paris offices of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo that left 12 people dead on Wednesday.
“When America doesn’t lead–and this administration is not leading–then it fuels and it gives hope to Islamic fundamentalists,” Former Navy Commander Rep. Zinke told Breitbart News.
“Yes, it is appropriate to say Islamic fundamentalist, Islamic radicals because that’s what they are,” he continued, adding that by denying to characterize Islamic terrorists for what they are, Obama is further fueling the jihadist movement.
The Montana congressman accused Obama of leading from behind, saying that America needs to assume command and help France, the oldest U.S. ally.
“We need to assist our oldest ally. We share a long and important relationship with France and my heart goes out to the French people over their loss,” said the first Navy SEAL veteran in Congress. “Together the West and our allies in NATO need to help the French because France is not capable of addressing this alone.”
“We’re in full retreat everywhere across the Globe. Our allies no longer trust us. Our enemies no longer fear us, and when America doesn’t show leadership then the consequences I think are clear and of course it emboldens our enemies,” he added.

The good congressman is mistaken here. The administration is leading. It is just not leading America - it is leading the Islamist terrorists.

The Obama administration is not negotiating with terrorists. They are consulting with them and getting advice from them. Sort of a professional courtesy.

You got it. Obama’s on the side of the enemy. Obama supported Morsi and the Egyptian Brotherhood. When Al-Sisi kicked out the Brotherhood, Obama withdrew funding from Egypt. In other words when the good guys got in he cuts off funding to Egypt. When Morsi and the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood was in, Obama was going to give them money and advanced weapons. Consider that. Geez.
You know, what we really need is for everyone to post about something that didn’t go their way on every thread that shows a Republican saying or doing the right thing.
