I still say this was a setup.
Well, I guess the general should have stayed in bed with his mistress and not gotten in bed with Obama.
Ok. Wait a minute. After the Bill Clinton escapades we are doing what? Prosecuting a man who won the war in the Middle East for adultery. Are you kidding me?
Well nothing happened to Sandy Berger for stuffing classified docs down his pants.
He at one point was considered POTUS material, the next Dwight D. Eisenhower. He served America honorably and with valor, until his brains went to his loins, and he let his pecker do his thinking. The good he did for this nation far outweighs the lapse in judgment. The destruction of his professional life, public humiliation, legal costs, and damage to his marriage are enough. Holder and Obama had best back off.
One of the ladies I was leading at the job I just quit worked directly for Petreus for a while. Interesting stories.
Petraeus hasn’t commented on the charges, but has apparently told the Justice Department that he has no interest in a plea deal....
Huh, I wonder why? I would bet this never goes to court because Obama and company would never want the real truth to come out.
Just think of some of the people that would have to give sworn testimony. It would not be like the dog and pony show in Congres. The chest thumper Gowdy could not drag it out behind sealed doors.
“What Petraeus gets”, for playing footies with the White House Marxists..
serves his ass right.. for ..NOT.. falling on his sword..
Sure.... the White House would have murdered him for spilling the beans..
BUT at least he would HAVE been honorable...
He fell into the latrine... AND liked it.. screw him..
OK, so this means P’s book is about to come out and they have to DIRTY HIM UP, first..?
Or he’s running?
Stupid ,stupid action by a very smart guy. This move is designed to take him out of any future role in any presidential election
There is very little that could come of a prosecution in this matter. While Petraeus was wrong to have the affair, he paid the price for it and resigned in disgrace over it. Yes,he was stupid to have the affair, but he is way too smart to put anything SECRET or TOP SECRET into an unclassified system. Secondly, Mrs Broadwell, held at least a SECRET clearance in her own status as an Army Reserve Officer, and Petreaus had the authority he needed to share information with her within that classification. As long as she did not put specifically classified material into whatever she was writing for publication, there is no issue.
The purported prosecution is all about diverting attention from Bill Clinton’s involvement with the pedophile/ under-aged prostitute ring in order to protect Hillary. In addition, Petraeus probably has the goods on Beghazi from his CIA sources & after action reports. By prosecuting him, they can marginalize any charges he may level at Hillary. Plain and simple.
IF Petraeus is NOT dirty in the Benghazi deal, he needs to COUGH UP SOME INFO ON IT!!! ASAP!!!
“where he and Broadwell communicated through unsent messages in the Drafts folder. “
I guess just about everybody in government caught on to this trick.
off topic but relevant.
http://www.militaryfactory.com/military_pay_scale.asp
Was looking at current pay scales for military, looks like a O-10/4 star with 28 years makes about 200K a year. But this is what caught my eye, an o8/2star under 2 years is about 120K a year. Can some one tell me how you can be a 2 star generalwith less than 2 years of service?
Interesting timing, why now? As with many other events associated with the liberal/progressive/socialist/communist political class, there is a reason for this. My guess is this is likely related to self-preservation or scandal mitigation. The question is, will the Gen put himself above the good of the country (be intimidated into silence) or will he expose whatever is worrying the administration (and likely her thighness). Either way the media will soon begin attacking the Gen per the playbook to influence public opinion in favor of the liberal/progressive/socialist/communist cause.
Regards.
The Republicans control the House and the Senate now. This was a warning to everyone not to talk to the Republicans about Libya. It’s a bluff. Just another maneuver in the big poker game.
No. No. No.
What are you trying to do?
Punish or destroy?
