I must admit to some confusion on this issue. The Geller piece twice states the French police were involved in a gunfight with the men, yet elsewhere I have read the French police are not armed. Sounds like the article is equating being executed with a "gunfight". Anyone know the facts on this?

This news agency seems to be a bit quirky to begin with....I underestand that from the last bombing other news agencies had “mixed” ideas if or not what they printed were or not incing violence according to France Laws.

But France is quirky anyway.
