940 cars were torched last night in France in a stunt that started mostly in immigrant communities back in the 1990s.

While POTUS #42 WJC deserves tarring for that, the big picture includes POTUS #41 GHWB who sent U.S. forces into Somalia in the last month of his presidency after he was defeated in a national election. Clinton honestly inherited that mess and only succeeded in making it worse.
That seems to be a problem with our system — letting RATs take control of armed conflicts.
Just as Clinton screwed up the Somalia operation by pussing out, Obozo screwed up Iraq by pulling out all American troops, and A-stan with his half-assed implementation of only 50% of what the generals recommended for the “surge”, (after a 6-month delay) turning it into a F****d up mess.

A Christian Palestinian friend dragged me to a Middle East Movie Festival in downtown Seattle about 15 years ago. One of the “cute” comedies was about young muslim yutes burning cars in Paris and running back to their own ‘hoods before getting caught. The yutes thought it was funny, tho their parents in the film were furious. The audience thought it was funny. The audience consisted of extremely well-dressed microsoft millionaire types, mostly from the ME.
