Mayor De Blasio slaps NYPD in the face on last day of 2014

New York Mayor de Blasio’s actions speak louder than words when it comes to respecting the NYPD, and he used the last day of 2014 to emphasize how little he values the lives of the officers that serve the city. The New York Post reports:

Mayor de Blasio delivered another blow to New York’s Finest on Wednesday when he reappointed a Brooklyn judge who freed without bail two men who threatened cops just days after the Bed-Stuy double police assassination.

The stunning decision came even as one of the suspects — a gang member charged with posting police death threats online — skipped out on a court date and had a warrant out for his arrest, sources said.

Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge Laura Johnson had faced a midnight expiration of her term. She was appointed by Mayor Mike Bloomberg in January 2013.

Her one-year, interim reappointment by de Blasio outraged law-enforcement officials a day after he met with the heads of five police unions to heal his fractured relationship with cops.

One of the suspects posted a photo on his Facebook page showing a gunman firing into an NYPD police cruiser just hours after the assassination of Officers Liu and Ramos, and added, “73 nextt” – a reference to the 73rd Precinct, serving the neighborhood where he lived.

Judge Johnson let him go without bail, despite prosecutors asking for a quarter million dollars, on the theory that he was a danger to NYPD lives. The Post reports that at the time of the no-bail decision, de Blasio was critical:

Devon Coley was freed without bail by Judge Johnson (Whom De Blasio reappointed) after making death threats against the NYPD on Facebook.

After the NY Post exposed Coley’s no-bail release in the NYPD threat case, Johnson was informally admonished by an official with the Office of Court Administration. The court administrator told Johnson she “should be setting an example to the public that threatening or assaulting police officers isn’t an acceptable thing,” one source said.

But instead of following the advice, Johnson doubled down later that same day and freed a man charged with attacking a cop outside a Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn.

When there is a gun battle among tugs and gangs among Blacks, let De Blasio, Sharpton, Holder and Obama go there to take care of a problem they nurtured.

Judge Laura Johnson is just following in the footsteps of the late Judge Bruce Wright.

It’s time for Henry Bowman to enter the scene.

I AM SURE OBAMA WILL BE PROUD OF HIS COMMUNIST SCREW BALL..

Now, those tasked to protect and to serve the Big Apple, appear to have decided to turn their back on their job entirely, and in what is shaping up to be a long vendetta with the mayor, have succumbed to what the NY Post calls “a virtual work stoppage.”

This implicit strike by the NYPD is manifesting as follows: “traffic tickets and summonses for minor offenses have dropped off by a staggering 94 percent following the execution of two cops — as officers feel betrayed by the mayor and fear for their safety.”

KEEP IT UP GUYS SHOW THE TURD..these guys should be afraid for their lives this bastard mayor should be kicked out along with his communist wife..before other great guys get murdered by the mayor little black thug boys..

So what is two earrings in the right ear of a woman the code for? (Besides telling criminals that they are very likely to skate out of her courtroom?)

De Blasio sounds like the white version of Obama - doubling down and in-your-face.

Nothing now stops the police from mounting “hunting expeditions” against those who would assassinate them.

Catch a perp. Off a perp. Dump them in the East River.
