Speaker John Boehner must go.
Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA), a John Boehner man running for re-election as House Republican Whip, is in trouble. And he too must go. By making a point of backing Scalise in the middle of this mess, so now is the Speaker himself in trouble. Mark Levin has long been out there saying Boehner needed to go. So too has Sean Hannity, with both updating their views over the holidays in light of the Scalise scandal. Well come back to this in a minute. But first, lets focus on Scalises situation. It is a textbook case of whats wrong with so-called pragmatic conservatism, the latter a phrase of Scalise ally and Washington lobbyist John Feehery.
Lamar White, Jr., the lefty blogger who is in the headlines for revealing Congressman Scalises speech to a leftist racist group yes, thats right, these were no conservatives Scalise was addressing all those years ago has himself written for a leftist website bearing the name of one of historys most prominent racists. On February 13, 2014, White contributed a piece titled Why I Will Vote For Representative John Bel Edwards (After He Clarified His Position On The War On Drugs) to a progressive web site called The Daily Kingfish. Kingfish, of course, was the nickname of one-time far-left populist Louisiana governor and senator Huey Long, a nickname deliberately taken from a black character on the racially controversial 1930s Amos n Andy radio show. And as with all Leftists then and now, Long was a race-card player extraordinaire. Says biographer Harry T. Williams of Long in his Pulitzer Prize winning biography of Long:

“Congressman Scalise has failed. Speaker Boehner has failed. Pragmatic conservatism has failed. These failures were and are as predictable with pragmatists and Establishment Republicans as the sun rising in the East. Its more than time for House Republicans to stand up and say to Speaker Boehner and Mr. Scalise: You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go.
Amen.”
Scalise should not be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.
Except for the fact that Scalise never made any such speech 12 years ago...
The liberal gods demand a sacrifice. Any conservative will do. If likely candidate is not available, one will be created.
The gods must be appeased.
But if he had, my response would be, “So why is it OK for Obama to have a racist as his right hand man and fomenting so much hate that non-white cops are being shot in the street, but Scalise can’t even talk to racists?
When POS dhimicrats explain that, THEN he should retire.
Scalise seems to be innocent of a fake charge and a fake controversy.
Boehner, on the other hand, still needs to go.
The writer says Boehner needs to go for defending Scalise, when its the opposite. If Scalise needs to go, it would be for backing Boehner.
All Scalise did was speak to the Red Cross and some local government types in a conference room of a hotel - that just happened to be booked by David Duke’s organization later the same day, for an entirely different event.
Don’t let your hate for Boehner allow you to swallow the entirely fake, manufactured media narrative that Scalise is somehow a “white supremacist.” You will be playing right into their hands.
The fact that both David Duke and Bonehead support Scalise means
both must go.
Clean house.
Scalise is Boneheads hatchet man.
He must go.
Rep. Trey Gowdy
It turns out to be NOT TRUE! (about Scalise)
When are we going to learn to STOP LISTENING TO THE LIBTARD MEDIA?!
He should go for the right reasons, not the wrong ones.
Replace “go” with “die a long and painful death” and I’m good with it.
“The liberal gods demand a sacrifice. Any conservative will do. If likely candidate is not available, one will be created.
The gods must be appeased.”
Quite frankly, to Hell with them. I am fed up with having to kowtow to some foaming liberal who hollers racism at everything. They call you racist because it seems to work. That is the only arrow in their quiver. They will scream racism no matter what we do, so I say get over it. It won’t effect the vote of anyone who wouldn’t have voted for you in the first place, and is unlikely to effect any who would. If we oust every pol every time someone yells racism, there will soon be no one left on our side. Don’t fear the word. The race card has expired.
