Update: Despite pleas to leave politics away from the funeral, hundreds of cops turned their backs when Mayor de Blasio spoke at Ramos' funeral. "All of the city is grieving and grieving for so many reasons but the most personal is we lost such a good man," he said during the remarks.

Would it be impolitic if I said I thought DiBlasio is a “pig”?
Why would you want to insult pigs like that ?
Everybody hates Bill de Blasio. The Bluebird Of Happiness says, “I hate Bill de Blasio. I wish the dumbass would move back to Nicaragua.”
“Despite pleas to leave politics away from the funeral, hundreds of cops turned their backs when Mayor de Blasio spoke at Ramos’ funeral. “All of the city is grieving and grieving for so many reasons but the most personal is we lost such a good man,” he said during the remarks.”
Maybe the Mayor should have stayed away. He’s doomed no matter what.
“Despite pleas to leave politics away from the funeral...”
No doubt that these “pleas” came from the very people that were directly responsible for this solemn occasion to have been necessary in the first place.
DeBlasio intentionally stoked the flames of hatred that placed the targets on these two Police Officers backs to begin with, all in the name of political gain and he deserves to be held fully accountable. Their blood is on his hands as surely as if he had squeezed the trigger, himself. May he rot in HELL for his odious and despicable actions.
“Would it be impolitic if I said I thought DiBlasio is a pig?”
Oh, come on! Pigs serve a useful purpose by being DELICIOUS! De Blasio? Not so much.
I know it is not going to be popular here, but I think a little less of the Ramos family for allowing De Blasio to even be there.
i believe the family did invite him..
Politicians invite themselves, and imagine the pressure exerted for compliance from the White House on down. It’s only human to want to avoid all that.
“Maybe the Mayor should have stayed away. Hes doomed no matter what.”
If there are enough decent people in NYC left, they should set about to drive deBlasio from office. Make it impossible for him to govern, even if he somehow survives a recall.
Apparently the late Officer Ramos didn’t sign the petition calling for warren to stay the hell away. Or his survivors didn’t respect that wish. Either way it’s unfortunate. Warren had no business being there.
If I’m not mistaken - the mayor of a city is over the police department. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
I saw some assertions that the family invited the mayor to the funeral, but couldn’t find a news story where it was stated.
When have Democrats ever politicized funerals?
Oh yeah, Wellstone .... Hickenlooper, Kennedy, King—just about every one.
But they ain’t doing it here, no sir. Well, stone the crows,
They’re blushing bright red as it is: DeBlasio sparks the tinder, then fans the flame.
Then he has the nerve to show up and use his Bill Clinton “I’m very, very sad face” for the cameras.
If it had been my husband or son, I would have demanded that de Blasio not show up.
I do too.
But he’s not over this man’s funeral. I would not have allowed such.
