After the mass shooting at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Mel Robbins, writing for CNN, argued that blame lay not with the National Rifle Association, but with the shooter and the mental health services he did or didnt get.

LOVE the last paragraph .. especially the part I highlighted ;
"Educating others about firearms is hard work. Its not glamorous, and it generally needs to be done one person at a time. But its a very necessary and important task.
The average American supports freedom of speech and freedom of religion, whether or not he chooses to exercise them.
He supports fair trials, whether or not hes ever been in a courtroom.
He likewise needs to understand that selfdefense is an essential right, whether or not he chooses to own or carry a gun."
(I broke up the last three clauses because I like bullet-point reading ... easier to memorize .. imo)

"Certainly one of the chief guarantees of freedom under any government, no matter how popular and respected, is the right of citizens to keep and bear arms...the right of citizens to bear arms is just one more guarantee against arbitrary government, one more safeguard against tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proved to be always possible" Hubert H Humphrey (D-MN)

Er, the drugs are labelled specifically warning that they cause suicidal and homicidal ideation. The connection between these drugs and violence is well established. However there is a deeper thing going on here. With the revelation that Kinsey’s work was all fraud and the growing understanding that mental health professionals increase violence rather than abate it, the entire structure of the Therapeutic State is threatened. What happens when it’s finally widely understood that it’s all been a money making scam that raked billions from the public coffers and destroyed millions of lives?

“What happens when its finally widely understood that...”
Nothing. People will rationalist it all, make the proper excuse and still partake. Just like thee way they vote and send their kids into liberal indoctrination camps. Just like they send the tithe monthly to dish/cable. They know all that is a bad idea and wrong.
Does not stop them. They do not wish to be seen as the odd man out in their social circles.
