With ISIS continuing to hold the upper hand in Syria and Iraq, it appears that the terrorist network is planning what military strategists call a pincer movement to attack the Israeli homeland from the north and south. Three Syrian rebel groups switched loyalties to gain ISIS support for attacks on the Israeli occupied Golan Heights, according to a report by the Fiscal Times. ISIS is now able to coordinate with Egyptian ISIS-aligned terror group Ansar Bait al-Maqdis in Sinai to simultaneously pressure Israel's northern and southern borders...
Although the U.S. led Coalition Joint Task Force named "Operation Inherent Resolve" claims to have impacted ISIS command and control, resupply and maneuvering in Iraq and Syria, the number of ISIS fighters is still growing rapidly. No one is claiming that the bombing has slowed down ISIS recruiting of foreign fighters...
ISIS has been criticized by many Arabs and Sunni extremists for fighting Muslims instead of making war on Israel. A coordinated attack on Israel would be a PR bonanza for ISIS's popularity and undoubtedly would spur recruitment and funding efforts. Most of ISIS's top military commanders are former senior officers in Saddam Hussein's million man army. Facing the U.S. in the 1991 First Gulf War, Saddam hurled hundreds of Scud missiles at Israel in an effort to inflame the entire Middle East by goading the Jewish State into the Gulf War.

And we can expect the usual corrupt parties — UN, Europe, US — to call for Israeli restraint in the face of Isis aggression. I hope Israel tells them all to go to H-ll.
I fully support Israel defending itself but don’t want the United States being sucked into another phony war against ISIS.
It is possible they will make some minor attack against Israel hoping to gain support from various Arab groups.
They are not stupid enough to really go head to head against a far more powerful opponent. I actually would really like to see that. It would be fun to see those monsters destroyed.

Perhaps we will see if Israel really does possess tactical nuclear weapons. Hopefully, they do.
Is this the same ISIS that claims it is on the verge of conquering Europe? Their mouth is writing checks their bodies can’t cash.
The REAL issue is will the UN and US raise a stink when Israel has to to defend itself? It really bothers me as an American that we even need to ask that question.

Israel can afford to sit back (with weapons in easy reach). They’ve got very little to worry about in what’s left of Syria; they’ve got Iran’s proxies in Lebanon to worry about; Gaza won’t attack again until they’ve rebuilt, perhaps 18 months from now; the PA’s attempt at ‘intifada’ has receded for now, replaced by a new campaign to gain recognition as a gov’t at the UN and among the EU; the possibility of the overthrow of the Jordanian monarchy has receded, even the most mouthy and stupid among the “Palestinian” citizens of Jordan can see what’s been happening in Syria and Iraq and knows the same would happen in Jordan; money has been quietly flowing from the GCC into Jordan to keep the monarchy propped and that mostly means support for the refugees; intel-sharing among Israel, Egypt, and at least one Gulf State has been going on for a while.
If Israel gets pulled into a hot war again, whatever the cause turns out to be, it will be sudden and basically unexpected.
Not even that can open the eyes of the far left American Jews.

Blaming the Jews has never had a rational basis, but the usual recent rationalization has been to blame “settlements” or “settlement activity” or “pricetag attacks”.
The disintegration of the Arab world benefits Iran, and no one else, which is why Iran is behind it all. The destruction of their ally, Assad, won’t change anything, neither would the destruction of the ISIS newbies. The mullahcracy in Iran must be destroyed.
