Seth Rogan isn't an A list comedian. I've seen his movie This Is the End and its mediocre crappy.
This whole brouhaha smells like a PR gimmick by Sony movies. Free publicity for raunchy comedy which would have disappeared from the movie theaters faster than Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow.

Risky move under ordinary circumstances because if the movie really stinks (which appears to be the case here), then word of mouth could kill subsequent theater attendance.

I suppose given the fact that the movie has already leaked, etc., that Sony figures they don’t have much to lose with this experiment, particularly if the experiment is to determine whether the pre-release of a BAD movie will kill theater results.

“I watched the movie. I decided to take one for the team. Don’t see it.”

Thanks. I hope your recovery is speedy.

6 bucks? They pay me or I pay them?

My billable rate is $70/hr... time and a half on weekends, double time on holidays, and triple time on holidays when it is already overtime.

i am not convinced sony didn’t make their own propaganda for exactly this purpose, to generate demand for this movie.

The whole situation was hilarious to me because a bunch of leftist totalitarians who basically agree on things were going at it with each other with expensive destruction of assets as a result. Sony leadership are also widely known by another name...the RIAA. Nice to see them take one in the kazoo once in a while. 5 stars....I mean, unless I actually have to watch the movie.

I notice that there’s a very strange dynamic at play on this forum. Corporations are believed to be guilty until proven innocent.

My goodness that sounds a lot like Soros and his fellow travelers.

Lets see, big banks, corporations, Wall Street...

Whew. Who needs enemies when there are plenty of friends like some of us.

Wow, I almost forgot. Every police officer is an ass—le. Did I forget another big Leftist belief that some folks support here?

My son saw it. He said it wasn’t the worst movie he’d ever seen.

Me either. Most of the movies made today are pretty bad.

Stupid movie. We have six people watching for 6$.

So, does low price make it less stupid?

A few days ago they were scared to death that the hackers would release the next batch of stolen emails. That's what the hackers said they would do if Sony released this movie.

I wonder why Sony's no longer worried about that.

Just before that watched The Shop Around The Corner with Jimmy Stewart

Next up The Man who Came to Dinner with Monty Wooley
