...The president was on the golf course, in Hawaii, when the announcement was made....
Imagine that.

I guess Obama does not want to be inconvenienced.
To: don-o
Did anyone actually expect him to do otherwise?

This is good news for the family — who wants that creep at the funeral of their loved one?

Seriously, US presidents need to discontinue attending funerals except for major disasters, throwing out baseballs, and flying overseas to hobnob with dictators.
As well as wasting two weeks of the federal government’s time, and dozens of millions of dollars, on that worthless dog-and-pony show known as the State of the Union Address. In case you wonder, the last POTUS to send it to congress in writing was Jimmy Carter, once. Probably the best thing he did during his time in office.
In any event, the president should have a “formal gathering representative”, to go to funerals *on behalf of the POTUS*, send his Secretary of State overseas to blather with the dictators, and to heck with baseball games, other than to send a note encouraging the players on both teams to have fun, play a fair game, and give the fans some good entertainment.

One could actually take seriously the idea of Joe Biden genuinely being upset by the officers’ murder. But Obama? No way.

I would not want either one at any funeral of my kin..Biden should be escorted out of the church..and told not to come back..Obama is afraid he will get boohooed since everyone knows he is a criminal protector not a law abiding person..
