Want to take bets on how long it will take for Christopher Manney to be forced out of the police department?
Or maybe most realize it, but just don't give a rat's rear end.
Well, then it's a good thing Officer Manny didn't get fired in October for failing to follow departmental rules in the prelude to the shooting.
Oh, wait...
@ boycott: Officer Manney knew that the dead guy was mentally ill. He was fired for instigating the fight with an inappropriate pat-down.
I predict he will be asked to resign.
He’s a white male after all and black racists must be appeased.
He got fired in October for instigating the fight with an inappropriate patdown.
No worries, though - like any good little tax-tick, he's trying to get disability...

Are you saying I posted that? I don’t see where that is the case. IF SO, please don’t put words in my mouth.
I guess that’s why community organizers haven’t burned down Milwaukee yet.
The vengeful gods of PC have been propitiated with a human sacrifice.
I responded:

I suspect that the dead guy thought he was being felt up by another man who was attracted to other guys (see: "instigating the fight with an inappropriate pat-down"...
The most vengeful community organizer is on the course in Hawaii, where his mother brought him after giving birth in Kenya...

That made it look like I was quoted.
I still don’t understand your point. I don’t really care anymore either.
“Obama will cancel his Golf today to condemn this..”
Now why bring up another mentally ill black man to muddy the discussion of this other mentally ill black man. OTOH, there was an effective solution to the one problem.....
Just lil Trayvon, right? Thought some homo was after him? I’m sure ol Psycho McScofflaw had plenty of experience getting his junk felt up by cops. Maybe he liked it? If not he could always have stopped breaking the law and being a nuisance to society.
If anybody wants the maximum amount of details, rather than getting bias from the usual crowd, they can read about them here:
If Al Sharpton isn’t charged with ‘inciting to riot’ as well as other post-Brawley crimes, they may need to call the 101st airborne to deal with protesting National Guards across the country.
The suspect trapped Manney’s arms under his arms up around his chest. Manney was fired by the chief for violating policy on approaching someone mentally unstable. The police association gave the chief a no confidence vote in return and the termination is being appealed.

After reading the report, I have no problems with the policeman’s actions.
It’s a shame the situation ever happened. I don’t fault the officer for that.
When I was in college, I went out drinking with some of my friends. I wasn’t driving and didn’t get too drunk. We were pulled over. The officer (a black officer) told me to get into the back of his car. I said to him, “I wasn’t drunk and I wasn’t driving.” He replied, “Get into the back of my car or I will put you there.” That was enough for me. I got into the back of his car without saying another word. He let me out after a little while and told us to go home and stay out of trouble. He said he didn’t want to see us around there anymore. He got his wish.
