When Columbia Law School let Black students postpone their final exams because they might be “traumatized” by recent protests, they really let the cat out of the bag.
Now students at Oberlin College, one of the most liberal college in the country are demanding African-American students be completely exempt from failing this semester because they’re so deeply affected in “times like this.”
So far, the Ohio college has said they will allow professors to exercise “flexibility” in “emergency incomplete requests,” but has not given a flat out “pass” to all Black students.
This is making students really whiny. In a poorly written petition to Oberlin President Marvin Krislov – that has more than 1,300 signatures – the students lay out their “demands:”

In the end, they mostly hurt themselves.
There is now a second definition for the term “black exploitation.”
Only the stupid ones would want this, so fail them all...
Yet another “I’m-a-victim” ploy that white people buy into. What a pile of crap.
Who is the racist, the person that expect all students meet all requirements for a passing grade, or the person that wants to give a passing grade to someone because of the color of their skin?
Soothe them with an M.D. Degree... give them pilot licenses
This guarantees blacks will be judged on their skin color instead of their grades when looking for employment.

Close the college, the poor dears cannot function! As if dealing with heteropatriarchy, cis-genderism, racism, sexism, ableism, white privilege and white guilt were not stressful enough, now THIS!!! OH! THE HORROR!!!!! /s;)
Don’t worry, the only jobs they are in line for (DOJ, EPA, IRS etc) won’t be affected by their GPAs.
All the women, cash and respect they desire on demand, plus exemption from unwanted consequences of their actions.
Either they adjust their expectations to be more in line with reality, or there will be hell to pay.
The president of Gruberlin College will agree. He’s a really, really, really white guy.

I would imagine most of us here went through the turbulence of the sixties but we never saw or heard of any student body or university coming up with this absurdity.
This is a measurement of just how far we have fallen as a country and it’s pretty sad AND REVOLTING. As to where we are right now is thanks to the occupier of the White House.
If “emotional trauma” is the threshold, then students who are 49er fans should also be exempt from failing grades.
Black, white, purple, green or otherwise, what a bunch of whiney, wimpy pussies we’re raising in this country.
Evidently blacks consider themselves to be inferior and therefore exempt from the standards applied to everyone else.

Get over it and off the “entitlement” binge. You deserve nothing more than anyone else and if you want to graduate, study and take the exams like everyone else has to. The rules have been changed and bent for you free loaders long enough. The rules say, LIVE WITH IT!
This is worse than the example of an A student splitting the grade with a C student so they will both have a B
