I Am No Longer a Republican
christianpost.com ^ | 12/21/14 | Matt Berber

I am no longer a Republican. John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and their Democrat-lite, RINO Republican establishment have seen to that. They have betrayed their own constituents. They have actively turned against the American people – the very voters who granted them power to do good.

Even before the gavel has sounded on the Republican-led 114th Congress, these treacherous cowards shamelessly, eagerly, it seems, squandered perhaps the one opportunity they had to stop, in his tracks, America's first cultural Marxist, anti-American, palpably evil president.

If ever there were, there can no longer be any doubt. Barack Obama is bent on turning the land of the free and the home of the brave into the land of the conquered and the home of the weak. He is an egalitarian globalist who hates America. He has repeatedly spat upon the very Constitution he was sworn to uphold.

Last month Republicans were elected by "We the people" in an unprecedented landslide – in a Democratic Party bloodbath – with clear marching orders. They were given one task and one task alone.

Stop Barack Obama.

They have failed both miserably and willfully.

What's worse is that the Republican establishment has worked in concert with this wicked man. They have aided and abetted him as he and his godless Democratic Party summarily deconstruct all that has made America great. The Republican Party is complicit in the ill-fated fall of the American Empire.

I don't know what kind of dirt Barack Obama and his NSA-KGB have on John Boehner, but within a week of the elections it became abundantly clear that the GOP would betray us.

Ok, I'll grant you that some local/regional chambers can get that way, but the vast majority are not so dedicated to the "R" enclave of elites.

There has been a history of a sort of a mutual mindedness between even conservative "R's" and the concept that jobs are the finest attitude any government officials can exhibit.

Employment is the best "social program" that any government can and should support!!!

Democrats, even those often supported by unionized supporters, far too often do NOT support decent, good paying jobs with good benefits.

Now we have a Demonicrat government foisting Obamacare(less) on the rising new class of multiple part time employees in minimalistic low paying jobs!!!

Their only solution is to raise that minimum wage. We should bring back the "Misery Index" from the days of the Peanut Farmer POTUS!!! /rant

Oh PAULEEEEESE!!! I've heard far too much embarrassing verbiage from that dude, especially in the area of foreign policy that smacks of the same embarrassing verbiage we hear from the subverter-in-chief like apologizing for what he claims are America's inexcusable failures, way too often!!!

I don't hear him apologizing for being American, but I do hear him criticizing the-way-things-are, which is part of any honest assessment.
As far as our foreign policy is concerned, there is a lot to be said against the fighting of undeclared wars and police actions.

Sorry I couldn't bring myself to listen to him anymore. Thanks anyways...

I can understand that.

The “R” or “D” behind a persons name is not a badge of honor in Congress. We have a Rep. from GA. that has a “R” behind his name and yet votes as a left wing Dem. The 7th district is conservative with a Rino voting for us in D.C.

Yes, sure. Of course. What else should I do?

There's no other party to vote for.

Can you suggest an alternative?

If you’re good at it, predicting the future can be a very profitable skill.

Hopefully, your skill in that area will allow you to make big contributions to true conservatives in the primaries for 2016.

Independent. Constitution Party. Libertarian. Or, vote Democrat...we're headed for CWII whether the R's or D's get elected....if the D's get elected, it'll just be that much quicker. I'm ok with that, because I ain't getting any younger, and I'd rather be able to have a lot of fight left in me than to have to push my walker around.

And this is why the GOP loses.

I never thought that replacing all those “country-club-Republicans” with true conservatives would be easy or quick.

And I give “W” bush a lot of slack, because he had to win the Iraq war, even though he had the Democrats, the media and “our” intelligence agencies working against him.

I’m not so worried about our “too big to fail” bailouts. I fear that we’ve accepted “too big to survive”.

I dumped my Republican affiliation when GHWB went all squishy. It’s a shame because I was so proud to be able to register as a Republican in 1984 to vote for Reagan.

The GOP seriously needs to look at what wins and what loses, rather than looking to compromise and horse-trade.

"Independent..."

There's no 'Independent' party, sir. There's an old 'American Independent' party, but I'm sure that every old fogey that supported it is long dead. Equally as dead as George Wallace. They disintegrated back in 1976, when Jimmy Carter was still the governor of Georgia.

"Constitution Party..."

They're silly. There's also only about thirty of them in the whole United States. I think their leader is some 74 year old church organ repairman from Terra Haute IN named Marty Cziechozhblawicz who wears red flannel shirts, wide suspenders, klunky orthopedic shoes with diabetic socks, and men's diapers for his incontinence. He's going to die next week when his power goes out during a winter storm and his CPAP machine turns off in the middle of the night.

"Libertarian..."

They're hardly serious. Besides, if you're an 'independent conservative', that party is no place for you. They still advocate erasing all borders so that 'free people can emigrate freely'. Why did you even suggest the Libertarian Party? They're kooks who seriously put forth candidates who've turned their skin blue with dubious home remedies and pose for campaign photos wearing replica Star Trek 'Captain Kirk' shirts. Get out of here.

"Or, vote Democrat..."

You're on the wrong website if you're advocating that.

No, seriously. I demand honest answers that aren't worse than continuing to support the GOP. Really now, what have you got?

I already gave those. Instead, I'd be happy to send you a jar of vasoline. Might ease the pain the next time your RINO love gets the best of you.

I’m sticking with Cruz, who seems to want to reform the party from within. Besides, still being stuck in CA, the only co-called conservatives are on the Republican ballot, and in a primary, only Republican votes are counted.

That’s my story and I’m stuck with it.

Hey, I offered. I was being the nice guy. But ok, I won't need it though. I won't vote for another rotten traitorous GOP candidate for quite some time. If you are too blind to see what is happening, that's not my business.

What took you so long Berber? I figured this out in 1988 after Bush 41 stabbed Reagan in the back.

And then when Reagan died he and his RINO son, Bush 43, had the audacity to sing his praises at his DC memorial. While most people were weepy I was throwing up at the utter hypocrisy of two presidents who did EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to destroy conservatives.

The media was swooning over Obama in 2008 and the claim was that hee was “governing” before being sworn in on January 20th 2009.

Don't you need that Vaseline to lubricate the pintle mount and traversing/elevation knobs for the air-cooled machine gun you've got mounted on your motorized 'Rascal' scooter?
