I Am No Longer a Republican
christianpost.com ^ | 12/21/14 | Matt Berber

Posted on 12/22/2014 11:20:17 AM PST by cotton1706

I am no longer a Republican. John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and their Democrat-lite, RINO Republican establishment have seen to that. They have betrayed their own constituents. They have actively turned against the American people – the very voters who granted them power to do good.

Even before the gavel has sounded on the Republican-led 114th Congress, these treacherous cowards shamelessly, eagerly, it seems, squandered perhaps the one opportunity they had to stop, in his tracks, America's first cultural Marxist, anti-American, palpably evil president.

If ever there were, there can no longer be any doubt. Barack Obama is bent on turning the land of the free and the home of the brave into the land of the conquered and the home of the weak. He is an egalitarian globalist who hates America. He has repeatedly spat upon the very Constitution he was sworn to uphold.

Last month Republicans were elected by "We the people" in an unprecedented landslide – in a Democratic Party bloodbath – with clear marching orders. They were given one task and one task alone.

Stop Barack Obama.

They have failed both miserably and willfully.

What's worse is that the Republican establishment has worked in concert with this wicked man. They have aided and abetted him as he and his godless Democratic Party summarily deconstruct all that has made America great. The Republican Party is complicit in the ill-fated fall of the American Empire.

I don't know what kind of dirt Barack Obama and his NSA-KGB have on John Boehner, but within a week of the elections it became abundantly clear that the GOP would betray us.

Well, let me tell you, watching retiring US Senator Dr. Tom Coburn on 60 Minutes last night say flatly that he has been cheering the subverter-in-chief and "working with him on issues where they could agree" really upset me!!!

This "reaching across the isle" to deceptively "scratch each other's backs" while out of sight of their supporters and voters still has to be stopped!!!

Compare and contrast with this retirement speech.

My post last Monday.

As Travis McGee said,”The fix is in.”

“”The GOPe backed McCain, knowing he would lose.

The GOP backed Romney, knowing he would lose.

The GOP will back another super RINO, knowing he will lose.

But look who WON because we lost?

The Chamber of Commerce

Big banks

American based multinational corporations

They want amnesty, and Obamacare, so they can shift all of the costs on the American taxpayer, while they reap all the profits.

Nice(deadly) game, if you have the money to play......Heads they win, tails they win.

The author of this piece isn't very convincing.

He sets forth a lot of demands that he insists he won't lift a finger to accomplish. He's going to sit right there until either someone else waxes his car, or Jesus comes back to Earth. Whichever.

I can find intellectually-lazy baloney like that all day on FreeRepublic without you having to link to some blogsite saying the same.

See that’s the thing. I’m pretty abrasive even though I don’t really mean to be. Lol

Oh PAULEEEEESE!!! I've heard far too much embarrassing verbiage from that dude, especially in the area of foreign policy that smacks of the same embarrassing verbiage we hear from the subverter-in-chief like apologizing for what he claims are America's inexcusable failures, way too often!!!

Sorry I couldn't bring myself to listen to him anymore. Thanks anyways...

Please distinguish between the disgusting US Chamber of Co-miseryandgrief and all the local and regional Chambers that DO NOT succumb to all the Commonist influences!!! Or hadn’t you noticed the difference?

"I’m always surprised that so many of our FRiends, who also revere our Constitution, imagine that election 'winners' have power long BEFORE they are even sworn in."

Wait if you wish, but the writing is on the wall. In big, bold chicken-scratches.

Left in 2007.

Don’t want to be associated with the majority of Republicans.

Our local CoC is just as worthless - they certainly control the R candidates here in Mesa County, and boy are they rotten! GOPe to the core. I won't vote for a single one. Ever.

I’m always surprised that so many of our FRiends, who also revere our Constitution, imagine that election “winners” have power long BEFORE they are even sworn in.

Not been paying attention very long, have you? 2000-2006, R's had control of the House, Senate, AND WH (a majority I fought hard for and campaigned for and gave up a helluva lot of time for) and we got "bipartisanship" (which is just a bunch of BS), the "Patriot" Act (which is anything but), Part D (a miserable mess) AND the beginning of "Too big to fail"/Bailout policies that have been continued under oblunder. But hey, that'll change next month, right? HAHAHAHA!!!!!

The Democrats voted against the budget because THEY want the government to shutdown. Any government shutdown will be blamed on the Republicans.
